Nice flavour text. As far as propaganda goes...  :vD

Yes, engaging the Baneblades with Basilisks over open sights was definitely my high-up of the game. It's almost as if I'd planned it.

Thanks for a very nice game Erik. I suspect there shall be reckoning to kingdom come at the rematch. :)

Photo update! (I've been gaming Gogard's Last Stand with a friend all night, hence the delay).

Commissar:

Snipers:

Group shot with Leman Russes:

I missed the supreme commander, so I'll add him in with next update. He breaks of all the green and brown by being grey.  :oh:

Quote: (Erik M @ 10 Dec. 2008, 11:56 ) Hehe, can you spot my Warhound hiding in the woods? I got the pebbles for Warmachine focus counters originally so in this game occasionally I must remind myself that it's not good to have a pile of them. ^^ The table is at a local gameshop, made by Flames ...

When I get down to starting painting my space marines I'm thinking of doing an own chapter. "Welkin Warriors", "Crescent Crusaders" or some such... It's all down to colours really. I thought of Blood Ravens first because, well you know, not having played space marines in 40k BR really are my closest...

Nice! I can't wait to see the end result.

Did you use water to smooth it out?

Ah, I might have figured. Well at least I know how to do it now. The reason there was no update yesterday, in spite of me painting a lot, was that I had a game with Erik M. Some serious Guard on Guard action with all in all three companies of superheavies on the table. One of them, the only one on m...

Thanks TwilightWalker. For tonight's update I must admit being a bit disappointed. I assembled and painted a FW Warhound Titan. I did some highlights and then I glazed the model, which made all my highlights go away... Either I need to make them brighter next time or I need to highlight after glazin...

Isopropanol or isopropyl alcohol or even propan-2-ol as it's also called (damn my chemist forebears for not making up their mind) works about the same way as brake fluid on ordinary GW plastic. Requires a good soak and a scrub. Haven't tried it on resin. Isopropanol can be bought at technical grade ...

Yeah Tau... In a pinch you know, you don't have to use them. The 984th Gothian is on! But due to my schedule we'll have to set a date next week. Does Monday or Tuesday work out for you? Also, about the trade. What would the cruisers be worth to you in miniatures? I'll pass on the drop troops though....

Ok, I've got the stats.

3 Cruisers. One with only lances. One with dorsal lances, side batteries and launch bays. One with with batteries and launch bays. Extra: two sets of launch bays. Some lance bases with the possibility to attach tau turrets, also available.

Anything you'd like?

Upon coming home today I noticed in great joy that a parcel from Gamemaniacs, a local gameshop, had arrived. They stock some Forgeworld models for basically the same price as Forgeworld itself. And as Gamemaniacs have their yearly, no shipping until New Year's month I couldn't resist. Domestic shipp...

I've got up to 3 Imperial plastic cruisers from the BFG-box. (I'm keeping one for myself). They're assembled and primed black. It's cyanoacrylate however so it's fairly easy to break loose the weaponry and rebuild. I've done it myself once on one of them already. There are some extra weaponry as wel...
