Wow. Very nice. Looks like it got all the details on the rivets too. I would have to disagree that 3d is harder for organic forms. There are a variety of modeling techniques and software such as zbrush that make organic forms relatively simple to model and detail. For most things, I'd actually recom...

Just a side note, if one isn't available, this should be fairly easy to cast in green stuff and sculpy (at least if the top is any indication).

It seems the only thing that was really giving trouble was the rivets. so I vote the first one, though perhaps if the relief was exaggerated along with a slight size increase it would work too. The second one seems too over the top and cramped.

Quote:  The number of shots however are. Since they can kill both types does it matter if there two weapons firing one shot or one weapon firing two. End result is still two shots fired at enemy. I agree that the end result is the same, X number of shots directed at the enemy formation, but si...

Quote:  Nowhere in the rules does it specify that a stand of devastators actually have 2 missile launchers per se.  Instead they are armed with missile launchers that confer 2x AP/AT shots.  Whether this is one rapid firing weapon, 2 weapons or 4 slow firing weapons is beyond teh sca...

I think that 1.9.5 in the EA rulebook is clear enough in that it says "The player must decide at this stage whether weapons will fire with their AP or AT values if they have both. Then roll a D6 for each shot..." If you have decided that the weapon as a whole is firing AP you can't decide at the lev...

I would assume that any time a unit has multiple of the same weapon that have both at/ap values it is allowed to split fire since you choose which value to use when you fire that weapon and if there are two of the weapons you can choose each time it is allowed to fire. Eg a hydra or support squad co...
