I think part of my problem with adding infantry is it risks providing something that the existing list lacks, tactically. Not just in terms of being able to occupy buildings, but also cover large areas and soak up lots of firepower. If you're going PDF/IG typical levels of 8 to 12 strong formations ...

You know adding Lance to the rail gun may not be a bad idea if we also reduce its range. The reduction in range would not mean too much to the HH's but it certainly would to the broadside suits. Like 15cm or something. Or we could make broadside suits 5+ RA rather than 4+ RA. Just a couple of ideas...

My primary request is that whatever list is chosen for first development is that it be capable of stand alone Knight action. Which is to say, it should be structured such that you can field nothing but Knights and have at least a reasonable game. Right now the Knightworld list variants are one of th...

I think it pretty much boils down to what you like. I scanned your fluff thread, and based on that, these are my thoughts. If you want to more subtly mirror the Imperium with your faction, the PHR minis, especially the heavy walkers, give you a very "Advanced Technology Warhound" look. Tit...

I'm a little late to the party but Blip mentioned the Infinity support bots and I'll throw in my support for that idea. I'm seriously considering the idea myself. I happened to already have a pair of Yu-jing remotes from an early attempt to play infinity a few years back. As far as size goes, the sm...

I'm not a huge bug fan, so take my unlikely to buy opinion witha grain of salt, but I like Lotus' suggestion of the somewhat octopoid/cthulhu style heads. Gives a wonderful sense of wrong that a lot of bug type minis just don't achieve.

Perfect, as far as I'm concerned. The relaxed gunner pose is exactly what I imagined. Nothing needs to change IMO. The only improvements I could see would be add ons like the troop inserts for Phantom mode, and maybe the closed cabin option several have suggested. Neither is super high priority to m...

Agreed on that. Ball joints would be perfect, as you could give some individuality to your formations.

Shut up and take my money!

The detailing on the front is perfect. Nice use of negative space.

My only tiny niggling complaint remains that the gunner's posture is too stiff and upright. Beyond that, I'd like to see how the tri-gun version is going to look.

Just grabbed mine off the shelf. Approximately 4 3/4 inches, front to back, 6 and a 1/4 inches wingtip to wingtip, and 1 and 1/4 inches from top to bottom.

Definitely improving as you go. Looks like you took the advice on sweeping back the sail, as the lines on this version are much nicer. Gun position is about perfect for on top. I like the lack of seats. Seems fine this way, though again, wouldn't mind a separately cast insert that went into those we...

Bondi are free men and landowners (ie, yeoman but not thralls or serfs, nor nobles). These would probably be the bulk of any massed army. Hird are the direct retainers and court of the nobles (carls and jarls). Basically household guard/bodyguards on the battlefield. They'd be superior or even elite...

http://www.onslaughtmini.com/images/previews/phantom%20barge%20wip%2003.jpg I like this gunner position better than the original or the version mounted on the sail's front, but not as much as the under-chin mount. I think the sail and gunner both need to be less upright. The gunner's seat should be...

Okay, I very much like the under chin mount. It looks every better than I thought it would. However, to improve it further, and tie to other models in the line, maybe consider modifying the nose for it. Split it like the Ghast, and have the cannon poking out from between the tines of the fork. For r...

I like the idea of the sails being more dragon wing like. Also no holes in my opinion, if only because it's easier for a customer to add that sort of distressing themself than it is to repair it. I'll also put out the lone dissenting view on the prow. I liked the simpler shape of the original design...
