It's meant to be modeled after the codex list. So that would give a sniper ability to scout units. That wouldn't do anything for you in an assault. It would need to be on a close combat or firefight weapon. See the faq: https://tp.net-armageddon.org/rules/#sniper |

I finished up two more players for my Orc Blood Bowl for a Sevens tournament the guys are looking to play tomorrow. Annoyingly, the last decals I tried to stick on them (the white player type on the base rims) just fell apart on me in the water. So I wasn't able to get them top-coated either. Hopefu... |

Thanks guys. @glorfidel, I like them. Mechanically, there's not a lot there: roll a d6 and add some modifiers to see what your shooting does, or roll opposed d6 and add some modifiers to resolve a combat. The bidding system and turn clock make it interesting though as they add decision points, resou... |

Thanks Apoc. Some pics from my Altar of Freedom game at HAVOC on April 7th, the Battle of Proctor's Creek. There's still plenty left to do for them including painting the skirmish stands and flocking everything. I'd like to bring it down to Historicon or Fall In!. https://blogger.googleusercontent.c... |

They look great, Axel. And serve as a reminder that I still haven't finished my Griffons, some 10 years on from when I painted mine. For the Iron Fist, I wasn't a fan of the second sculpt. The first sculpt is pretty rare though, so I ended up converting mine: https://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/... |

I finished up the Confederate generals this week, and also cleaned up and primed my Union skirmishers. We'll see how far I get with those in the coming weeks, there's a Blood Bowl 7s games day in May that I need to paint a few more Orc positionals for. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29... |

I've been finishing up a bunch of odds and ends this week, getting everything ready for Sunday. All the bases have the AK Interactive Dark Earth on them, and I put the flags on the last of the Union and all of the Confederate infantry. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlAO6... |

Thanks Apoc. I didn't want to go nuts but wanted a bit of pop on the table. This was a nice, quick win: Eight units of artillery all ready to go. Painting 32 infantry goes a lot faster than painting 288 infantry. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii8ZcnNPd_nGN3_aUKLrWs9KbXB_... |

I finally done painting the Confederate infantry. We're not going to think about the skirmisher stands I want to do for them right now. I'll be top coating and basing them tomorrow in preparation for a demo game this Saturday. After that, I'm hoping to knock out the artillery, characters and a unit ... |

Thanks guys. I've been slogging through a dozen units of 6mm Confederate infantry in preperation for a game I'll be running at a local convention the first weekend in April. I've made good progress these last few weeks, getting the base colors and wash down, plus a few highlights. https://blogger.go... |

I've been plodding through the black on the Steel Rift stuff and I also finished the cockpits as I try to stumble into a color scheme. I hope to finish the maroon next week. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP2fkqpgfc5-uuM4EQWMtrqT2skPKJRSmwUscJnh0_cwNLOgIlai8ENqyeYjIMPRein... |
