Hello guys, today I'm a bit on counter-charges... per rules they seem really straightforward, but here's some little questions about cover. Normally, in an assault, infantry in cover terrain can use cover saves, but the attacker does not. This reflects the fact that attackers need to expose themselv... |

Hi guys, I recently discovered about the "counter-charge someone else" rule, I thought I got the hang of it, but now this thread dragged me back in confusion. So goes the rulebook: Any enemy formations that are contacted by counter charging units are drawn into the assault What I understan... |

Hi, I also have a couple of questions about this list. 1) The IF bunker save contained in the "Masters of Siege" rule. All infantry units gain a 4+ cover save when within bunkers purchased as part of the army. They may take this cover save against a macro-weapon hit. In addition, they may ... |

Hy everybody,
I have seen that NetEA tournament pack or just some lists were updated in August; is there a changelog? |

@ Kirt: You know, I have never seen it played, so when I came up with the idea I wondered if my gaming buddies would have accepted it as a legal move. Also I never met the "zoc'ing" term (or never noticed that). Now I've got some "tactical command sez that" to quell any protest. ... |

Ok, so according to this And as for your Lictors, don't forget that they only score hits when they are in B-B with an enemy, though you are then allowed to allocate any hits that they scored using the sniper rules. Lictors use their CC attack ony when they could normally use it (eg, if they were in ... |

Hy guys and thanks for the replies. I basically agree with both of you - as I wrote up above the FAQ is unequivocal (by the way, what is the K.I.S.S. principle? I am still not familiar with all of the jargon) Now I am also pretty sure of the second part of my original post, that is the "excepti... |

Thanks guys!
I agree with Ginger that the trick is only guaranteed to prevent sustaining (plus overwatch and marshal & shoot, to be pedant); all of the other scenarios depend on the way formations are spread out, their range and, conclusively, on the course the game has taken. |

Hi again, I read about this in some old discussions, but I wanted to refresh the topic and, possibly, get a final word (if it does exist!); I would also suggest that the FAQs on NetEA tournament pack would be updated in order to minimize the puzzlyness. This is about the (in?)famous FAQ about the sn... |
