Aye, there's a really wonderful bunch of projects shown here in this years Gothicomp.  The fiber optic BB is a beauty and I'm a bit biased towards anything Dark Eldar.  And even beyond that there's just so many ships and conversions that were really beautifully painted.

I think I'll have to participate this year.  Not sure what I'm going to do for the painting comp.  As for conversions... what if I've converted this ship like 2 years ago but never submitted it previously?  It doesn't have to be a conversion this year yah?  I'm certain half the f...

Have you considered looking at Mongoose Publishing under "Babylon 5: A Call To Arms" ?  They are going out of mini production at the end of this month so a lot of folks, myself included, are placing some desperate last minute orders before time runs out. What kinda ships are you looking for? &n...

Well I know I'm not the only one- I can list off at least 2 or 3 others that I'd recommend getting advice from also ArtificerArmourer, Kavok, and a few others. But in any case I figured this is as good of a place as any to get discussion going with the original creator, assuming he is interested in ...

Alrighty, I know that this was fielded on Spec Games, but I figure stay close to the source right? First off, as a hardcore DE player, I think that this is a good set of rules and what not, though I personally would like to take issue with just a few things. Shadowfields:  I think that a 4+ sav...

I use a DD Protector in my hybrid GW/FW fleet.  It usually is the focus of most of my psychological warfare against my opponent, usually having to do with confusing tactics that rely on it's high maneuverability to make predicting it's purpose in the battle difficult.  Also unexpectedly la...

Initially I wasn't overly keen on the idea, but then I remembered Homeworld: Cataclysm, one of my old PC favorites, and what you describe sounds very very much like "The Beast",  some kind of organism which overpowers and consumes the crew of an "infected" ship, and uses their biomass to form n...

That is undoubtably one of my favorite paint jobs I've ever seen done for any eldar.  The conversion itself looks nice too.

I'm really excited about these Ad Mech ships but will wait till I see finalized prices and stats before ordering any. I sure hope that WD 330 is right on the supposed US/Can pricings, I couldn't bear to see another tragedy as happened with the SG Tau.   "So lets have a look at those Tau ships!"...

Ok, so many here will be familiar with my desire to come up with a workable Light Cruiser for the black sheep of the eldar family and here is my latest incarnation of it. Nightmare Class 0-4 per fleet---------------------------150 pts Type/hits-----Speed-----Turns----Shields----Armor---Turrets Cruis...

Hmmmmm, the increase in turrets would provide the cruisers with better ordnance defense and the idea of more shields is nice, especially if the ship is kitted out for additional shield and turret refits due to brotherhood upgrades...  I am still unsure of 6 hits though, after all other advanced...
