"Resolve the shooting attacks using the normal rules." The normal rules have a Formation resolving it's attacks. The only other time multiple units can make shooting attacks in one activation is Co-Ordinated Shooting, and there it's also on a formation by formation basis. There's absolutel... |

So they don't get to shoot and lose their activation? Given what dptdexys quoted, the rules are clearly saying to resolve the shooting immediately. Waiting for other overwatch to finish, or for the target formation to break and withdraw is not immediately. They also say to resolve it as "norma... |

I still don't understand what you're getting at. If you declare overwatch all at once, and then resolve the shooting one formation at a time allowing for the formation to break after each, what happens if the formation breaks before all the overwatchers got to shoot? They don't get to shoot. This r... |

I don't have a problem with that at all. If a formation is getting completely shot to pieces by 2+ formations overwatching it then maybe it shouldn't be moving there to begin with? What I would have a problem with is someone declaring overwatch after another formation has already used it. That allo... |

I can't find any instances of combined shooting all being resolved in one pile. The closest thing I could find was the Tau Co-ordinated Fire, which still follows the normal shooting rules. Combining all the firepower at once has the possibility of completely destroying a formation, rather than break... |

I wouldn't read too much into licensed properties that predate the End Times publications to be evidence that the Old World is still alive. It takes a bit of time to develop a game, and a change in the licensed property half-way through development isn't likely to be evidenced in the game's finished... |

It doesn't mean much to me. I don't think GW is going to weather the storm in it's current configuration. My buddy tried to argue this at the superbowl. "But Age of Sigmar is a fun beer and pretzals game!" You know what, you're absolutely right. It IS a fun beer and pretzals game. The prob... |

I wouldn't resolve all the attacks at once. Each formations attacks should be resolved, completely, before moving to the next formation. |

So I'm gonna go on a limb and say... they can be game changers when they hit? That's a LOT of template. |

Yeah, I think that's right. I don't think you can resolve an over-watch, then choose to over-watch again, resolve that, and so on. Overwatch is already a pretty powerful action, or so it seems to me, what with it giving cover to infantry in the open and allowing you to interupt an enemy formation. A... |

Question: With Orbital Bombardments, if your BP are enough to give you extra templates, do you place orbital bombardment templates or barrage templates? |

Of course you don't understand their business model: It's nonsense. Their board keeps saying they're a "collectibles" company. Yeah, ok. I think Epic being cut loose was the best thing that could have happened, honestly. At one point, they were the only real option if you wanted to play wa... |
