Like most things I will chalk this up to miscommunication on both parties. I will also admit some level of fault for not handling this at the lowest level and letting my frustration dictate my actions. I don't wish for this to be a back and forth he said she said thing over the forum. I have provide...

I recently completed two trades with Bogenverleih. Though I paid for and asked for tracking on the first order I never received it nor was he able to provide the tracking information. We were able to attempt to work something out with the 2nd order. He did provide tracking number and it was a fairly...

Also, if you use airbrush, make sure you don't have too much pressure, or you risk the paint drying before landing, giving you a slightly textured finish. Was planning on using a brush only. I'll look into the Flat Base. The sad part is my models are jacked beyond repair now. To the Simple Green wi...

Re paintbrush, for my standards, somewhat thinned Tamiya guck is quite enough. I find that there's a trade off between enough effect and slight chalkiness. I have actually not measured and/or kept records...

What do you use to thin it down?

Can I ask - are you doing the Vallejo Matte by hand? because I've been using that and don't think that I get a bad shine on the models.

Putting it on over the blown Dullcoat with limited success.

same here. I've been using it since i was 8 and won't touch anything else. I never thought about it prior but I too keep it about say... 25cm or so away.

i have this happen all the time. Dullcote is the least noticeable though. I haven't found any really good solutions either to an entirely flat finish. It's bad enough that many times I take the pics of the models before I varnish just to make sure I have a pic of how I intended the model to look. T...

I have a three fold question. 1. How do I get my models flat? I have a whole series that look grate and need the others to matc...

Thanks! MDF buildings from battlescen designs are out of stock at vanguard, sadly. To be honest I reallly like how original cardbouard buildings looked like so I am trying to find some for cheap. There are some on ebay but they are mostly too exepnsive. Have you looked at the cardboard city from dr...
