OK, willing to give it a shot. I figure if I the ammo rule bother me that much I can crib together some house rules.

Also, are the unit cards on the website still usable with the compendium or do they need updating?

Edit: downloaded and reading now...

Hi. Been a long time since I've posted anything on this site. The recent announcement of the Strike Legion compendium has piqued my interest. I'm wondering though if that is my better bet for purchase or the original game + genome+skunk works. I'm not interested in the Victorian setting and the othe...

This is one area that GW is better than Reaper. At least with GW you know that they aren't going to give meaningful support to anything other than 40k and WHFB. Reaper keeps coming at the CAV audience (what there is of it left anyway) from different directions and it seems to get worse each time. F...

Accidentally put this in the 6mm Slammer's thread. *facepalm* Finished up the rest of them after tweaking the colors some to make the details more visible. Kind of cheated and used the Minwax dip on them (though I really brushed it on), but the results are better than the two test paints. More pictu...

Dangit! Put this in the wrong thread. *facepalm* That's why I shouldn't post at 0120.

L4, that's part of the intent. Eventually I'll have some of the 15mm Slammers and these guys will be target practice.

This is the first of eight, the remaining just need their bases finished and they'll be ready. Simple drybrush job on this, but it passes the Arm's Length test. Opted for a simple gray over blue-black scheme so I can use them in either an all robot force or as augmentees to organic forces without ja...

Well, I would imagine that even a 2cm powergun would slice through even a dreadnought's armor and that the Slammer's would be a fair sight more accurate than your run of the mill IG trooper.

Finished these up last weekend, had to wait for the weather to warm a little to seal them. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-bXAU_U0qtHY/TVf3hCkLKCI/AAAAAAAAA0M/dr9kCEk9ve8/s1600/p1030034.jpg They are from Khurasan's 15mm sci-fi line which I'll be using with Tomorrow's War. They came out a little darker tha...

;D I think it was intended for a farm or rural airport model railroad layout. I may end up "sci-fi-ifying" it some later on. As it stands now, it's a terrain peice I didn't need to paint. :)
