Looks like Team Finland will not be able to make it. We had a cancellation and no extra players.

I guess the idea for Team Finland is not to find some accomodations, but to be co-located with other people that are participating... for social purposes

Been looking at accomodation options... Not particularly much available near the venue.

So figured I'd ask where are other teams going to be staying?

There will be a Team Finland, lineup is still not final since we're not sure if there's four or five of us, and if five, which one will go to Nordsee Alliance.

Are the deads Shapeway prints? I've not seen them before. The weapons are. The torsos are regular GW ones. https://www.shapeways.com/product/56NLYMTAL/epic-40k-spess-marin-dredman-weapons?optionId=59969482 The weapons are slightly too large for the GW torsos, but still manageable. More pictures at ...

After a few games with this DA list I figured I'd post a few comments. First of all, we mostly play scenarios, and not the tournament one. Most fights are not really that fair, so I won't really take a stand balance-wise. The list plays interestingly, personal favourite new unit is Land Speeder Dark...

Lists used will be the Approved ones in the NetEA tournament pack.

The list of army lists in the OP below the above statement does not match the list on http://www.tp.net-armageddon.org/

Which one is valid for this event?

I would say the chances are pretty good.

I just used the last of a citadel green stuff bar from early 2000s on a modeling project this spring and it worked as intended. I just had to cut the middle section out - where the blue and light green stuff touch - since that had hardened.

And another week's progress Got slightly distracted and ended up painting nobz for a 'uge Goff mob. I figured nob stands should be more like a couple of nobs and their retinue instead of a large number of nobs marching in a line. IMG_0934.jpg The Ropecon army is now complete, 2990/2990 points painte...

And another week. Still four weeks to go until the event. Added four land raiders, four rampagers with legion champion, Angron's retinue - three red butcher terminators, five thudd guns, five rapiers and a stormbird. Project is now almost finished, only missing a single tank and a spaceship. :) Most...

Do you consider it worth the cost? I find it quite expensive for such an uncertain result... They do look good on your pics though! Worth it is very relative. The white strong & flexible ones definately were not worth it since those will never get painted - that was a waste of money. For the ot...

What did you print you shapeways fliers in? I have extremely mixed results with frost white!! I kind of experimented with different materials, ordered a few models in each material available White strong & flexible was awful: lots of texture, can't sand, can't cut, can't polish. I ended up bagg...

I'm quite smitten with these - are the flyers metal or resin? Metal flyers are hard to balance sometimes.

Those are shapeways prints. With heavy cleanup using a modeling knife

Added some heavy support marines and transports for the troops painted earlier - several types of rhinos and "Raccoon" pattern Spartans. Now at 325+265+200+200+275+275+200=1740 / 2990 for the Ropecon list and 850+275+250=1375 extra stuff that just happened to end up getting painted. Full a...
