Hi, I didn't get a lot done today. A few buildings glued together this morning and a few stands of Greeks basecoated. It's been really humid here, and that combined with the footie on TV has kept me away from my painting desk. I'll try to be a bit more productive tomorrow, it's supposed to be cooler...

Hi, I've managed to make a start on my project today, with lots of transposing templates onto balsa wood and cutting them out. No construction yet, but I'm taking a break now to watch the footie, but I may make a start on that after. I've also painted 10 WMA Greeks (that's 1 whole stand!), but we're...

Hi, @L4: No, they are just flat. They have a few bits of flash on them from their original sprue, but nothing you wouldn't get normally. I've just put one back-to-back with a Warmaster base too, and there is no size difference at all (this is the "small" ones on the site, the 20x40mm). The corners a...

Hi,

I got a huge bag of bases from Kallistra for my WMA army. They're the same size as Epic (WM) bases, just with slightly rounded corners, and they're a lot cheaper. A bag of 50 for 4.80GBP. They also have larger bases perfect for super-heavies.

Cheers,

Hi all, after my latest hiatus from gaming (real life getting in the way, again!), I have returned and begun painting my Legends of the Old West minis. I have all the models I need, but no terrain! So I figure I'll join in the fun for this project weekend and set myself the challenge of building a w...

Hi, From the Fanatic site if you havn't seen it already, Quote These past few weeks I?ve had a few questions about the Fanatic releases that we have previously mentioned were coming out around this time. I can confirm that the planned releases are going ahead. In fact I have an advance copy of the U...

Hi, Today I awoke to find another selection of goodies had arrived! A padded envelope STUFFED with 10mm Greeks from Pendraken, another with 100 40x20mm bases from Kallistra (far cheaper than WM bases from GW), and some LotOW minis from Artizan. I was expecting the LotOW book too, but I got a nice no...

Hi, My copy of WMA turned up today (it was freezing cold for some reason... ) and it all looks good. Very nicely printed, with lots of gaming photos (something E:A was missing badly). I'll be giving it a good read through over the next couple of days to see if there's a lot more to learn on top of m...

Hi, I've ordered both Warmaster Ancients and Legends of the Old West this week. Hopefully they'll capture my imagination more than most GW games are at the moment. My club buddies already have a lot of ancients/napoleonic-era armies (in various scales) that I've always wanted to face, but I've never...

Hi,

Yet again my website at www.blastmarker.com sits un-updated for months, but it's still there, and it gets new stuff occassionally. If only I could get spare time to paint, I've have stuff to post! :p

Cheers,

Hi,

In case no one has mentioned it already, the UK online store is selling the Epic ruined building sprues again, although they're 8 pounds each. :/

HERE

There is also a "bag of epic bases" at 5 GBP. Still no sign of them Feral Orks though...

Hi, Having now built them, I think that the whole model is too big to be a defiler, although the legs are probably perfect to greenstuff/convert a body onto (the legs are in two pieces, crossing at the centre point with enough space to support a different body). They're probably best used as War Eng...

Hi, After recovering from both a prolonged night-shift at work, and then a rather hectic xmas, I finally received the first unit in my new IG army today, two Yaokong Remotes from Corvus Belli (for their Infinity system) to count-as Warhounds (or possibly just a unique unit). The best pic I have foun...

Hi all, Not a lot of time to write, as 12 hour night-shifts are giving me little time to do anything but work and sleep, but I thought I'd drop in to see what's going on, and I'm glad to see you're all far busier than me on the painting front. Now that I've refilled my EpiFunds with some very-welcom...

Hi,

If anyone is using Amazon (.co.uk or .com) this year to buy presents, please use either a link from my website

Sorry Jimbo, I completely forgot about this. :(

@WMN: Great work again. It will be nice to see those Chimera conversions.

Cheers,
Freshmetal
