Not wanting to spend quite a bit of money, I thought it easier and tidier to start up a...

I got both early french and germans from skytrex. Really nice minis indeed.

Thanks for the reply Nitpick. :)

They do look good. To be honest I plumbed for the FoW Somuas and Hotchkiss tanks. I found a few on eBay that were slightly cheaper than Battlefronts. Still cost a bomb though!

I'm also collecting early war Germans - thank goodness for The Plastic Soldier Company!

Hi Stug! Uhhhh, get some of my 15mm scifi figs and pretend they're French?!? :D Sorry I can't help, heh. Thanks for the help. ;) Maybe use british infantry? As far as I remember the french used a longcoat in the beginning of the war, and the british used something similar, but a bit longer later on...

Hi Guys, Long time no post! I've not had much time for wargaming over the last few years, although my friend and I do manage a game of Frostgrave once a month! We've finished the main campaign and are now going to trying out Gaslands . Anyway, my eldest son and I have been looking through the FoW Bl...

I finished a couple of commission paintings the other day... These both took around nine hours each. Painted in Corel Painter. And yes, the grots are wearing Imperial gear - tis what the client wanted! :) Commissar Grot http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u206/amipcl/Diego_Gretchin_Grot_Commissar_102...

I dunno. I've always felt 40K was more ground-based. I know they have spaceships and aircraft, but I think there's too many vehicles these days.
