I'll give it a shot, but since I regularly run 3-5 formations of WE's and Fireprisms/ Night Spinners even in 3000 points, I honestly think this makes Eldar tanks way to big of a target. ?Like I said I'll try it, but I think only getting 3 BMs in 3k is taking the concept of reducing Spirit Stones a b...

One point on the Wraithgate issue, is that, for the ability to use the Wraithgate, we give up the ability to garrison our infantry (except rangers and warwalkers) in any way, shape, or form and that is a major difference between us and everyone else. ?I agree that a smart Eldar player will use Wrait...

Me, I like versatility, so I don't really like just giving the only extra BM removing ability in the entire Eldar army to the small tank formations. ?If you do that you are basically saying that Eldar C&C is worse than even Orks. I completely understand that people don't want to be forced to take Gu...

So, we are looking at something like: Embolden During the Rally Phase, the Eldar player may remove one extra BM from a unit that successfully rallies. ?He may do this once per Farseer that is on the table during the Rally Phase. A) only during the Rally Phase, not during Marshal actions. B) once per...

Well, I am generally against changing the units armor values, Jetbikes have a 3+ Armor (can become 3+ invulnerable save with a turbo boost) and a 4 toughness in 40k which is astounding for Eldar. ?Wraithlords are toughness 8, 3 wounds, and a 3+ Armor (bolters and any other small arms have no chance ...

Jaldon I'm with you almost 100% with you from your post. ?The only think I even close to disagree with is the last point: I really need to learn to properly quote, but you said: (4) At one time I didn't feel that Wraithguard and Wraithlords were underpriced at all, but after purposely abusing my use...

No, if the formation fails the initiative test, they don't get the BM off, but I personally don't like the idea of having to declare BEFORE you roll. So I would go more along the lines of: Embolden If the Eldar player has an unbroken Farseer on the table, then he/ she may remove one BM from any Elda...

During the end phase, the Eldar player may nominate a number of Eldar formations equal to the number ... |

Hrrm, Ok, methinks it is time to put our money where our mouths are and to start talking about playtesting some changes. I would be more than willing to try the Embolden transferable leadership from Farseers and Exarchs (I add Exarchs because they are military leaders and they do cost points i...

My typical army list runs something like this 1x Guardians with Wraithguard and Spirit Seer 2x Guardians with Wraithguard 2x Guardians 2x Night Spinners 1x Wraithgate 1x Storm Serpent (new addition 75cm move then a unit of guardians with wraithguard jumping out makes me a happy person) Then either 3...

All I can comment on on the titans are the Revenants, and I feel that 700 is about right for a pair, but I don't think that 350 is right for a single Revenant, anyway, I seriously doubt we will ever see a single Revenant . ?I have actually used the Jump Pack and 35 cm move to get Revenants in positi...

1) Revenants: Revenants are very, very powerful, IF LEFT ALONE, when they get shot at it is litterally a crapshoot whether or not you will be able to save the hit, and with only 6 BMs to break them they don't stand up all that well in addition to being the BTS goal in almost any Eldar Army. So...

This isn't an issue for me as I always run 5 Guardian formations, 3 with Wraithguard, and do just fine, but I can see your point about armies that don't have many guardian formations. Perhaps giving Exarchs the ability in addition, but making both types of units pay 10-25 points for it would b...

Just wanted to say that I really like the Farseer transferable leader way of doing things. I have many, many times had my small formations of Fire Prisms and Night Spinners broken on the first turn, on second turn they were back with two functional tanks. If Spirit Stones was taken away ...
