It was my opponent ;-) But he did not assign the synapse creatures to the Dominatrix. One of the Synapses was even broken because of the BM`s they received during the turn.

The Phase III Ilist I faced only one time and it was integrated into a scenario. But it was a very tough fight and nearly the whole game was about fighting FF/CC.

Ok, Minervans will have to do the job at greater range.

Quote:  However I would be interested in hearing how your opponent formed one big swarm out of three? During the first turn he moved three swarms into the middle of the table and assigned them to the Dominatrix in the end phase. In the second turn he got the initiative and launched an attack t...

Yes, we used the v9.0 list and it is much better than the lists before! I faced the Tyranides as an opponent and it is frustrating to achieve no BM's because nearly every creature is expendable, then watch the Tyranid-player rallying nearly every swarm, spawning the creatures I have killed before an...

Yesterday I played the last game of a Tyranid vs. IG campaign. The campaign lasted lasted roughly one year and I want to give you a short feedback. All the special rules of the Tyranides are really annoying. I played the IG and especially Spawning is annoying. But we came to the conclusion that the ...

Look at the description of the Leman Russ in the Epic Armageddon rulebook (page 95): "Fitted with a gyrostabilised main gun, the Leman Russ can accurately engage its target both on the move and hull down, making it one of the most advanced armoured fighting vehicles in the Imperial Guard arsenal"

These are the impressions of my first game against the Tyranids. Probably it was my lack of experience against this army or Morgs luck but I think it's easy to "hide" the synapse creatures. If it's a big swarm or a pice terrain. Let's see what the next games bring.

QUOTECan't say anything about BTS, this was feedback from somebody else. The same goes for Spawning. Spwaning enables the Tyranids to flood objectives. One turn you shoot them mindless and then they spawn. It also seemed odd to me that the IG can easily outnumber the Tyranids. Make the brood creatu...

2) Where are the modification the IG player was using from?  I've never seen them before.

They are product of my own evil genius

I simply like IG in plate armour.

Ok - a little report: The table was very small (180cm x 90cm) and that's why we decided to play a scenario. The Siegers where placed in the City and the Tyranids had to assault from the opposing short edge with more points and some reserves entering from the long edges. The Siegers killed the 2 Harr...

BUT!!! Hundreds of dollars worth of resin scenery and you are using a cardboard counter instead of one measly objective??

Don't blame him. These are my counters  :;):  I used Killerloops miniatures because he wanted to play with his Tyranides against his Siegemasters.

QUOTEIn the SteelLegion the Constcrips would rather represent some Hive Militia i suppose. I've read it somewhere too. This is the reason why they should be organized in a seperate formation. I can't imagine  that an officer is teaching the Gang Leader. Let three of the synch. Lascannons on th...

60cm is far but sustained fire isn't always the best option, even for the guard.

It's a bit confusing to discuss the list in the german and english forum ;-)

From the Tactica Imperialis page 57: "Furthermore, where in the dark times the regiments had been fielded in massive and coherent, all-arms groupings, these where rendered down. Instead a regiment must conform to a (very broadly) defined type wether Infantry, Armoured, Artillery, Pioneer or any numb...
