| since corey has squashed the idea of removing the variable SR how about we buff it from SR 1(3) to SR 2(3) so the choice of adding a c'tan isnt dead easy as SR 2 makes the army able to perform just as well without them. with SR 2 i accually want to take other things in my list other than a C'tan. an... |

with their manipulators it states "+1 extra attacks, macro weapon"
just wanna check if that means just their extra attack is macro or is all their attacks in base contact are macro? |

| actually i looked at some scale pics of the old knights, those things are way too big to be an "armoued vehicle" so im thinking of converting some epic eldar wraithlords up, the conveniently come in packs of 6 they may be a little smaller than i would like but i cant find a better tournament legal o... |

| after some thought ive decided i'd swap warlords for reavers, this way i still have my battlegroup of 3 titans. the difference is i decided to arm them the same. with the left over points i think i'd try 2 formations of forge knights, they look promising being able to charge and break formations bef... |

wow those prices are ridiculous! must be a few mistakes on there, noticed that part of the site is still uder work so i sure hope so, $38 AUS for those 2 valkries is insane! should be $18. would just grab a 40k box of marines for only $50 instead......its an outrage  |

| well my playtest games on tomorrow will be using 1 formation as a core unit as per the raider list. will give my feed back and my opponents on their performance both on their own and with the army. also adds some variety into the list so the opponents cant just go "necrons.....so phalanxes and monol... |

| the reason they were good before was because the opponent was stressed with lots of high priority targets so the obelisk got off blowing away enemies scott free. if they are all you take in your army then the enemy just picks the closest unit and breaks or destroys it with concentrated fire, 6 model... |

| obelisk are a support unit, they do ok damage but cant take too much of it back, so the enemy can just spread his fire reducing your effectiveness rather than focusing on portal units to stop devastating infantry phalanx assaults. it does mean that you can take an entire vehicle army as a somewhat v... |
