Nope still no games played, only thing I've played in the last 7 months is guild ball, just been struggling to find the time between work & family commitments. Learning a new game just seems a step to far when I can't commit any time to it.

Doesn't mean I can't paint up a load of armies though!

So after another long break I've pulled out an epic model again. This time it's the all mighty.... Space marines, specifically in the form of a land raider. I got my hands on some scale 75 paints and was trying them out when spotted a blue was very ultramarine-y so figured I'd knock out a quick mode...

I'm guessing you're in New Zealand? Postage might be a tad prohibitive but if it's not too ridiculous I should have a number of those bits.

Wraithship (old one with sails)
Psylance
Fire Prism

Whoops, so it's been a while since I last worked on any epic stuff but worry not the urge is coming back round again and today I've knocked out a couple of little titans to go with my army. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c264/dafruk/3_NonWarhammer/Epic%2040k/New%20Eldar/72E66C50-E61D-4EE2-8650-97...

Finally, given a limited budget / time / just starting out, I would strongly suggest looking at the army lists in the E-UK site especially those of the top five players (Steve Gullick, Dave Thomas, Richard Laking, Tim Hunt, Joe Jephson). You could also try playing a few battles with proxies to dete...

Thanks for the positive comments everyone, much appreciated! Tim, yes I'm in the UK, I live down Bristol way. As for seeing it on the table I've no idea when that might be, I've not actually played the game for the best part of 20 years, but it has become really popular down my local club (Bristol V...

A wee gloat as it's something I've wanted since I got back into epic. I've managed to put together a formation of warp spiders. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c264/dafruk/3_NonWarhammer/Epic%2040k/New%20Eldar/21FE29B4-FEF9-4F2E-8EC8-024CB5B62E41_zpswfgn7vwm.jpg now to get some paint on them!

Looking at the Epic-UK lists for BT the most common formation seems to be 4 Dire Avengers 2 Exarch/Autarch Fire Dragons 2 Dark Reapers I think most of that has been covered above. Though it seems a lot of people are talking about scorpions over dark reapers. Presumably it's because those units are b...

cool, if you're wanting to trade that would be excellent.

I forgot to mention I'm in the UK, so postage might not be worth it for overseas.

Anyone have one of these to trade? I have Psylance, Plusar or even a D-cannon I can swap for it, or cash if preferred.
