That's the thing with Marines. If you buy a really expensive unit like termies in a bus, it leaves you with precious few points left over to hold any ground. My tactic against this would be to go aggressively at the weak main ground force that's left in front of you. If you don't have any massive de...

You can't beat a bit of cow mauling!
I'd keep the skulls but just make them smaller.

Yaaaaay! The Tyranids won a game recently (just). They tipped up with 2 medium sized formations containing Hive Tyrant, Carnifex and Trygons and then backed it up with Biovores and some little swarms. A good, balanced game. I guess it was the lack of bigger creatures I think that was doing for them....

Got all my Hellborn yesterday and just opened them all up for an inspection. Lovely detail and nice poses. The folds on the robes will paint up very nicely with a drybrush and an ink. Not too much flash. Thanks Onslaught! Any more Hellborn likely in the future? Command? Giant ogres wearing hoods, ar...

We play with about a third of the table covered in terrain - we think that's quite a lot (similar to our Warmaster games where cavalry can rule without lots of terrain). I suspect that one of the problems is that our two nid players have mainly infantry based armies at the moment, not many 'vehicle'...

I am starting to play with a small group of mature gamers who have all recently got back into EA. I am playing Traitor Guard (Proxied as a Steel Legion list) and my most frequent opponent plays the Onachus Nids list. It's a bit embarrassing - if I take lots of armour I seem to CRUSH him every time. ...

A german hat (scuttlebucket style or pickelhaube) would be great. Love this figure, even though I don't collect Orks (yet!)

I like what you did with the jet bikes. They came in two pieces that you can stick together so it makes a cross profile. The danger with the surfers is that you end up with a huge x axis sail and a tiny, hardly noticeable Y axis surf board. I prefer the second, simpler surfer. My suggestion is to go...

Very simple but very nice with an effective paintjob!
How do you guys stop the bases from warping? I've made stuff for warmaster and the bases always warp a little, even though I'm using good quality ply?

The top of the walker looks a bit plain to me. Good if you are a top notch free hand painter but for the rest of us mere mortals, how about some detail?
The rest of it looks good - agree with Jimmy, go double on the guns!

Well, European dudes - Steel Crown is back in stock Yay!
Can't wait for my big order of chaos mutant infantry to arrive - been building up my IG Traitor tanks and IFVs collection on evil bay but the project can't go live until the Onslaught Hellborn infantry arrive!

In the UK, I suggest googling and contacting 'Steel Crown' - they seem to increasingly be the 6mm sci fi one stop shop for UK and EU based product.
Dave (only a satisfied customer of steel crown, no ties with them) |
