Thanks, they were lurking there watching their comrades being cut down in swathes! Possibly turned towards me during the game.

The turret is an old one I picked up years ago from "Old Crow Models". They might still be produced if you contact Jez at Old Crow, though you have to use an archive to see the catalogue: http://web.archive.org/web/20081020180653/http://www.oldcrowmodels.co.uk/6turrets.htm The base is part...

Build, build, paint, paint. Objectives for the Krieg army. On the home stretch now. I'm pleased with the way the concrete floor looks in the ruin.

Thanks Justiniel, the gargant was good fun to do. I found some Thunderers in the stash, but not before trying to make one myself. I also figured out that the other ones are Conquerors, which can't be fielded by Krieg. I guess I can make up a sort of mish-mash Minervan tankers army if I felt like it.

I got this far painting up some stuff for my DKoK army before realising that these aren't Thunderers. They were in a big lot of Russes, some converted, that I bought second hand. I wonder what the original modeller had in mind, and what I can use these as. :/ And I need to find a bunch of Thunderers.

I need a Deathstrike for my Krieg army so have made this with the help of a Gregsters' lab part for the entrance.

I backed these on a crowdfunder and painted them up as Sentinels. They come with a couple more guns as seen:

But I'm having them as multilaser armed and just used one. Maybe looks a bit funny but I'm fine with that.

Those Morkanaughts are massive! Some non orky stuff on the bench right now, magnetised artillery so I've got the choice of Bombards or Basilisks. A little fiddly but it works surprisingly well.

Thanks for the encouragement all, Abetillo, I was really just looking for something different to use as tracks. There are a few plastic ork models that get used in a lot of conversions and this was a chance to do something different. Obviously it's the Mega Gargant hull but I've equipped it as a gre...

Instead of sporadically posting a new topic here every few months, I'll just stick them all together under this topic. Back in 2nd Ed. Epic I could field 20k points of orks, heaven knows what sort of force I have now. It would be a significant orkrush, that's for sure. I've also sort of started coll...

I got distracted making Bandai Star Wars kits, but I'm back doing epic miniatures. Also, continuing the theme of putting crew in tanks (see Gorgons a while ago), here is an example of one of my Minotaurs with a pair of crew in. Now if I could only speed the painting up a bit...
