Do you think a letter of complaint voicing our concerns would do any good??

Yes, I was thinking that as well. It is less than hour straight down the motorway, so any events would go to Nottingham rather than Sheffield. In the year that it had been open less than a handful of events were held.

It was with great surprise that I and several other epic gamers turned up at the Sheffield Event Centre to find out that it was in-fact our last game session there. GW have taken the decision to close this centre down on the 22nd May. Now I can accept that the centre probably did not bring that much...

Oops, looks like we wee testing the 6.0 List   Yep, would agree with most of the unit changes. Not happy that the Barbed Hierodule has now been dropped. Looks like I will stop creating new Bio-Titans until the 'Nid list is finalised   Hopefully will run through the 6.1 list next Monday. Gu...

Hi Guys, Played a 6k battle last night using the 6.1 list against Space Marines. A good game, espacially as my 'nids ate very well. We both thought the list is almost there with only a few of the units needing re-balancing. Certainly the ruling concerning brood creatures not leaving synapse range do...

While we are on the subject of customised models for Bio-Titans, I have just completed a Hydraphant (converted from a 40K Hive Tyrant), but without Bio-Canons. This means creating another one with them and scraping me old one; unless ? As with other Tyranid creatures you leave it open that the Bio-T...

Certainly for 150pts the Harridan is way too cheap, especially as its a Synapse. I would certainly be tempted to replace all my Tyrants with Harridans   I would agree with the reduction in armour value as inherently flying creatures will not be able to pack as much armour as the ground based cr...

I have a Morrigu Fire Support Vehicle, but intend replacing the gun with orky type weapons to represent a battlewagon.

Sorry for the delay, but here are some more conversions: The rear pair are Kryomek Helion figures which I am using for Haruspex. The others are (centre) a large Carnifex which has been converted with bio-canons for use as a Exocrine and the lastly the two smaller Carnifex to be used as Venomfex. I h...

Any further news on this event. The five guys who play E:A at the Sheffield Event Centre are certainly keen on taking part.

I gather it will be and "All Day" Bash. Will it be a mini-campaign day or tourney games?

What armies can we use?

KISS principle  :D

Although I like the idea of differing Synapse Spawning ability I feel in large games keeping track of this and calculating point values for re-spawning would be too much and slow the game down. Better to throw 1 or 2 die and pick the creatures out of the casualty box.
