That's truly superb, Warmaster. the Imperial weapons batteries combined with the Repulsive prow really create that solid but sleek look I'd expect from a fast battleship. I guess this didn't make it into the character ship competition? That's a real shame since I feel it would stand a great chance o... |

Hi all, and happy St Patricks Day There has been a series of rambling threads on the Specialist Games forums discussing rules for the Tau models produced by Forgeworld. Out of these discussions an article was produced and submitted to Fanatic Online Magazine a few weeks ago. Andy Hall today e-mailed... |

Heh, this conversation sure is taking place in a lot of locations, Xisor . Friday sounds good to me though. especially since I'm off to Blackpool on a work trip next week so won't be online much. It'll also give me time to see if Tael has made any changes to his picture. That was really just the fir... |

Gotta love those accidental purchases . There are rules for the FW Tau fleet ( The CPF - Commerce Protection Fleet ) in the hardback Imperial Armour III - The Taros Campaign book produced by Forgeworld. It's a beautiful book, and hopefully they will have sorted out the hundreds ( quite literally ) o... |

Heh heh, there's officially no such thing as a Kroot fleet so SG are safe there. |

Demiurg? I'm not sure whether Forgeworld models would be part of the prize. Well, at least two people here have bought models for the competition. I think that Specialist Games will more than make their money back from handing out the prize. Good news for further competitions, not to mention raising... |

That's a great piece of sculpting, however as wargame_insomniac mentions, it would certainly seem that this would constitute theft of intellectual property since it undisputably copies the design of the Voss prow pretty accurately ( that's why it's so good! ). Just because GW isn't selling the desig... |

Good good. Presumably it was inspired by the rules for 40k Orks. However, these of course are to do with the morale of the troops, whereas leadership in BFG is to do with the discipline and effectiveness of the crews - pretty different things in my opinion. |

Quote (squared @ 30 Jan. 2006 (03:13))I don't think that heavy gunz should work like bombardment cannons simply because it gives them something unique, secondly I did remove the no range modification part of the rule. The extra column shift should really help. Remember that is two damage ... |

First off, I really like the idea of the fire critical representing the swarms of Orks on the a-boats infesting the target ship - nice! Also, simply the name 'bigga escort' brought a smile to my face - very straight and to the point and typically Orky . A couple of points on the special rules : Laun... |

That would be to assume that the points system will be any more accurate than the current costings of ships. This is very much in doubt. A far better course of action would be to simply tweak the present costs based on player feedback I think. |
