Actually, I have TEN stands, but I was just going to pick my best one and submit it.

I took photos of a stand, which has three Thunderhawks to an Epic base. The file is too large to put on here. You can see a closeup of one stand that I just picked at random, it probably won't be the one because I saw a couple of mistakes on it. The pictures are in this entry of my blog. I also have...

I'm hoping against hope, but is there any way I can enter a stand of FW Thunderhawks? I probably can't, but it's worth a shot. I do have some Strike Cruisers I am working on for The Big Waaagh, and I'll submit the best of them here. Still working on them right now, so it'll probably be towards the e...

I haven't heard about any updates to 2.2 either, but there is a guy who is supporting 3.1. You can go to www.ab40k.org and find the 3.1 download there.

Memphis has a core group that comes out to play for tournaments. Myself and a friend play Epic every week. In late October or early November we will be holding "SpecialistCon II" where there is a tournament for every Specialist game over one weekend. Epic, WMA, BFG and so on. A tournament counts as ...

I just finished reading the article, and it turns out there is a Flash version of the battle here.

It is a great way to show potential players how the game goes.

Since you are going to get to play your LATD, that's good. I would like to chime in on the "counts as" rule. This is how it comes down from a member of the ERC. If you declare something as another thing (let's say Predators for Land Raiders) then all of your Preds are LRs, and that's it. You can't h...

Orks, but that's only because I am running an amazing record (like 20+ wins to 1 draw and 2 losses). A properly tuned and used Ork list is nigh unbeatable. One of my defeats was only because I faced a WARLORD titan, and it's hard to face something that puts out 12 4+ shots, plus a TK weapon. For the...

Thankfully, the Memphis Bunker still has a stock of SG. We even have an E:A Rulebook in stick! I play Epic there every week, and the staff knows well just how postal I would go if there were no Epic stock at the store.   The store manager is also an Epic player, so he knows how cool the game is...

I think you need to explain how Epic is different from 40k, while being in the same universe. Here's a contribution, do with it as you will: Epic plays more like 40k should. Instead of a total IGOUGO kind of action, with the move, fire and assault phases, Epic goes by Detachments. For example, a Spa...

I usually have a Landa with 6 Boyz, 4 Nobz and 2 Grotz for my air assault force. It's just as devastating as a Thunderhawk force (Assaults w/Chappie & Devs) plus it's 200 points cheaper. I have never failed to smash a flank with a Landa force. Depending on exactly how well that assault went, that fo...

Well, the battle was well and truly done last night, and I was victorious! I was originally going to use a turning maneuver, but it turned into a double envelopment and my big Warband broke through to capture Greg's Blitz. My Landa/Warband combo wiped out the orks and almost killed an orkeosarous in...

I know Sgt. Mike loves his Warhounds, and I'll ask him to post or give to me his list. Greg used Feral Orks, 3 Orkeosaurses, plus other stuff and every formation is loaded down with a Wyrdboy for the MW and AA, and two steam Gargants. Jim Johnson used Marines, but I have no idea what his list was. G...
