@Stingray: Les washes looks very interesting as it would allow me to tone it pretty much exactly like I want it. Do you have some pictures of the results? And if it is essentially the same as GW washes, I assume that there's no issues painting over it with acrylics? All my iron warriors were washed...

I had a similar decision recently when doing my iron warriors and ended up making a batch of "Les Washes"

I found the formula to be near bang on GW washes but a fraction of the cost so would highly recommend them.

very nice. Im always a big fan of bases modelled so they form a larger diorama when put together (have seen some great WFB examples of that in the past)

Gah - Why is it that webstores (especially miniature ones) make the fundamental mistake again and again of not putting pictures with their products? It makes me tear my hair that it seems so obvious to everyone but them that if we dont know what it looks like, we're probably not gunna buy it... :(
