Wouldn't a harder material work better? I mean, pressing this rock-hard milliput thingy into a soft piece of miliput (and vice versa, putting soft milliput into a hard mold) should make for a good cast no? And what about pressing a milliput figure into greenstuff? Would that work? Frecus The glade w... |

I was just trying my first hand at milliput. I did try some minor stuff with greenstuff, but never got much farther than gap-filling and some very rough detailing (like sculpting hair & a skirt on a 28 mm model). Now I have some tiny sculpure done with milliput (roughly 6 mm), without any real detai... |

As the title says, I need pictures of basilicas imperialis.
I'm making a 40K scale Basilica variant, and I need inspiration. Mainly to keep me away from the screen and back to the sawing board (it'll be made of wood).

How does that work in game? without artillerymen, no shooting no?
I'm already imagining bases with crew standing next to them, but I'm still wondering how that works in-game...

Wasn't there some huge necron walker thingy in the Medusa camapaign? I thought the aftermath had some on it.
Maybe base it on that.

Total: 19 tanks, a superheavy and 9 light Still got 5 unpainted gunfortresses and 4 WIP gunwagons though... Frecus The glade wanderer ... |

If I'd have money, and if I'd have the time/gaming group to play with these miniatures, I'd buy them in loads.

The game rules, however, do have a scale. The game is played at 1:100.000.000 The back of the book states that you can say that 1 cm on the table is roughly a thousand kilomtres in space. That would also make holy terra a small planet, due to it being roughly 12 cm. Also, this makes terrainbuilding ... |

I finally made a 'neat' version of my long-term project of writing a decent wargame. After some playtests, I finally came to this. Still needs lots of neatening up. And that's my problem. My work is not neat. So I have a few questions: -What do you think of the rules? (ofcourse) -what should I do to... |

To keep it a real 'fantasy' game, I'd recommend leaving some BIG room for heroes and magic. Warmaster for example has a great command system, but magic seems to be almost nonexistant, and heroes are more like markers than actual playing pieces. As for creating a system of command, I'd suggest not ma... |

I'm also curious after what you can come up with. Myself, I've been trying to write a decent massed-combat game for years, and through dozens of tries, I think now I'm out of ideas to improve on my work. My main handicap in this is playtesting. I'm quite isolated as a wargamer here, and so 90% of my... |

As I can't seem to edit my post, here's a note:
This is no really serious list. Please do not take it as such, but see it as you would a home-brew list for WHFb or WH40K; just something fun to use on special occasions.

Oki, I warned you in the title, no name calling, you knew from the title I was ousting blasphemies here. I'm reading 'Double eagle', and I got the idea of writing up a Phantine army list. Crazy, I know, as nobody with their right mind would have so many aircraft at all, but still, it'd be funny to s... |

It does look much clearer than the 7.0 list, but I still miss one important thing: The army selection. How is the army chosen? Do they use formations? Is it a formaless mass around the synapse clusters? I suggest you clear that up with an army selection table before waving the (well-earned) victory ... |

Wasn't andy the one who organised the SST game for Mongoose, or is that my weird memory? If he is, I'd say that's far from inactive! He's doing more projects like that, and if he's gathering the E:A stuff aswell, I'd say he's got his hands quite full, and we're left to do some playtesting in our own... |
