yes but that was for WW2 fighters... you'll see that even in your example, you only gain something like the speed an object can freefall in athmosphere, ie about 400kph at most... while it double the speed of a WW2 fighter, it's not more than +20% for most IA aircrafts (barring bombers, but those ca... |

hmmmm... i foresee some kind of aerial spore mine drifting in the air... i foresee exocrines shooting corrosive gas clouds up in the air at airrafts... I can see harridans being allowed to just grasp a passing aircraft and taking it down with them... I see gargoyles being sucked up in fighter ... |

a plane that excess it's maximal speed could very well be destroyed due to forces it's internal structure can't cope with; also, the speed an aircraft can gain by diving is not that much; most of the work is done by its thruster, not by gravity; the gain is mostly what you don't use to stay level; a... |

i think it's allready factored in the crafts statline... OTOH, it isn't, concerning Take off and landing procedure... many aircrafts in IA supposedly can take off and land vertically (vulture & valkyries, thunderhawk, landers (SM or orks), manta, lightning and thunderbolts...) I'm not sure it would ... |

well, i got mine for 16?, and if you can bid for one during the holidays, they generally come cheaper, as there are generally less people bidding during the summer.

well, IIRC (but it's easy to check), the FW "battlewagon" for Wh40K is a warengine and use structure point; given that it's the same model, i think that it's just a terminology difference between SG and FW. We can safely assume that those are meant tio be used as battlefortress in Epic.

I too like the difference TAU and necrons have brought to the 40K setting; I'd like the Tau equivalent of a titan to be a flying/skimming machine (Manta variant, and some smaller WE to fit something like a reaver role, or that of a scout titans/WE), and i'd personally quite like the idea of a gigant... |

well, strange as it may seem, i think the prices for some epic minis have actually drop... I notice the land raiders are now 15? for 4 models, i could have sworn they were 20? not long ago.
Has anyone noticed this too ?

i understand the need for the "one picture only" rule; i was not trying to discuss this, but just to clarify certain possible side question about it (can i enter unit from the same battleforce (well, from the same battleforce in the sense that they all belong to my army) providing that each unit do ... |

another "rule" question about battle force : I plan to put an entry there, but as i did spend a LOT of time on it, i would like to show some details; but the one picture rule prevent me from putting a group pic and then add a close up of some units. (and i must say i find it a bit disapointing, as i... |
