Looks like it was a great event and gorgeous fun! Sad panda I missed it -- Father's Day ruled and governed my weekend instead (not a bad trade of course, however that event would have been awesome to attend!)
Looking forward to future events. |

Fun battle report! What model are you using as proxy for the Thunderhawks? Also, I concur with your assessment that armies such as BA (and I am finding in BT) have a diff time fielding enough AT. They are great for AP, not enough AT count - it is lopsided and imbalanced. With Black Templars, the cur... |

Sorry, hope I am not thread hijacking here, but what is the point of Predator Destructors in Space Marine lists? I've sort of never understood. This is not a rhetorical question; I genuinely am curious. It just seems to me that the main thing marines are lacking is ant-tank, and that they have the ... |

However we resolve this, I hope we can preserve some fundamental cornerstones: * the opposing player isn't privy to the internal workings of the pilot's mind thus would not know they were going to land and/or assault until the craft does in fact land and/or assault. In other words, the player on the... |

The player declares a "ground attack", then rolls for that activation. At this point the aircraft is committed to attacking enemy ground units, flies on to the battlefield and approaches the target. 4.2.5 says Landing: Aircraft with a transport capability can land after making their appro... |

We've got a regular gaming day on 5/17. Looks to be around 12 people at the moment, playing EA, WM, NM and possibly BFG. I suspect I have asked too late/close to 5/17 for the household to truly mobilize for that one. Sad panda. NEAT is 6/14, with games the night before and the day after. It'll prob... |

Have family in CT and they want to know when about in 2014 I'm coming to visit with my family. The obvious thing to do is to first figure out when events and "tournaments" are happening in CT during 2014!! (Can't plan a proper family visit without first taking into account when I can drop ... |

These are gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous.
One downside to playing Black Templars is that the color scheme does not lend itself easily to making the minis "pop out" from the table top.
Another is that I cannot have awesome green Thunderbolts!

So a further question, should IF Terminators be allowed Tactical Terminators as an option for the player? +1 -- a fan of this approach. Tactical Termies are a fun part of the SM army and a mainstay cornerstone (as data showed by MephistonAG 143/156 armies). Would hate to see players penalized with ... |

@Ironhelm remember when a weapon has the MW ability and gives extra attacks, the MW only applies to the extra attacks ;) so in jimmy's example you'd get 4x CC2+ and 8x MW2+ attacks not 12x MW2+ ;) Well look at that! I guess (without knowing, CANNOT take credit there!) I have been "house rule&q... |
