In simple White Strong & Flexible these were almost the same price as the big ones from FW. :(

Finally today I had some time to work on the Space Corridors.
Unfortunately the price of the 3d print is so high I've already removed it from Shapeways. :(

The dimensions of the tiles are 122x122mm.
The assembled area consists of 5x8 tiles so 610x976mm, 2' x 3.2'.

I have two main reason for HDF.
The first one is the size of the tiles. I can do much bigger tiles by laser cut than with 3d printing.
(Also 3d printing could be used but only combined with the HDF basic.)
The second one is that I have a Trotec laser cut machine in the office. ;)

It could be both. These are just the basic elements. Later I'll make bigger city tiles too, to decrease the number of tiles needed to make a whole city, with longer roads, bridges, highways, multi level roads (that occupy more tiles) and so on.
