Mark, as i said over on Westgamer, brilliant! Shame the new job is keeping me busy with work and travel over east or I'd get off my ass and actually paint some more eldar myself. :(

Looking forward to the final army photos.

Mark keen to try that list out next time you're down in Perth. Eldar or SM's?

See if it's just the eldar who have trouble with it.

(Legion 4 @ Jun. 13 2007,13:05)QUOTEWell, if you've been in the military (USN or USAF ?), and it sounds like you have, I'm sure you may have seen the square chutes that are much more maneuverable then the standard T-10 and MC1-1B, I've jumped both. ? O.K. Back OT - As far as the Market Garden scena...

Legion, I'm assuming the HALO chutes are some special make or design. I just had nasty images of the Master Chief dropping onto present day battlefield. Anyway back on topic, I would be keen on trying out the Elysians based on the 'chute' idea Mark mentioned above. I passed along some ideas to him v...

(Legion 4 @ Jun. 06 2007,23:08)QUOTERgt HQ and all the "E" Troops, should come in on Valks and/or Grav-chutes (teleport). But once on the ground they will only move as fast as they can walk/run. And CAS is a must, IMO. ?And yes, once the troops are on the ground the Valks would go back for more, li...

(Mark_Logue @ May 26 2007,14:04)QUOTEOk I completely miss read the rules (using Elysian list v2.1.2) thinking that Elysian Units still got teleport when they had Valkyres (imagining them flying in from high up somewhere). Tried out another game now that I have that worked out. Reg HQ with Valkyres ...

Quote (blackhorizon @ 09 Feb. 2006 (06:08))First of all, what are the logic behind the campaign going to be? What does a 'win' actually do? How much impact does it have. In a long term campaign things should be kept interesting. Like random events. Space battles in warp storms, dust clouds. Ground b...

I think the key is to keep it simple and I think thats where the sucess of say GW's Arm3 was all about. Someone whose handy with map and graphic making is needed to design the world, solar system or whatever. My suggestion is to take a leaf out of a recent Battlefront Flames of War campaign they ran...

Two assault formations with a chaplain works wonders against an enemy back line. If you know it's going to be a battle of attrition I'd fill them with a Tac formation and drop them on an objective and possibly teleport in a formation of termies. Then it's a case of Hold Out until relieved. Sort of a...

Those heroic actions are going back before my time but I like. When in doubt, refer to the past.     Need to be tweaked for Epic: A. though. Perhaps - Commanders could perform heroic actions once during a turn. The player rolled 2d6 (+1 if elite detachment): 3 or less: Disaster (commander ...
