| I'm in. Had a couple of ideas: - Convoy (aka Fury Road): 3 tables, road from narrow end to narrow end, convoy starts in middle of table 1, not a normal formation, doesn't roll to activate, can only move if friendlies are within 5cm of it, can't be damaged by either side, get at least 2/3s of it off ... |

| Dave Thomas and his Blood Angels. Dave is great to play against – he will almost certainly beat you, but he’s a gentleman about it! You're not kidding. In the 4 years worth of tournament records Epic-UK has on the site, Dave has a overall record of 66 wins and 27 draws, with only *5* lost games... ... |

| Yay. 2.5 hours to get the 15 miles home... Could have been worse, my housemate was in London playing a gig and got home at 5am... Thank you to Steve and Mephiston for organising, and to my three opponents (who didn't thrash me and leave me with another wooden spoon), and particularly to the folk who... |

| Another one here thinks the Stigmatus Defiler is a bit of a mess (the armour save, the speed, the 2+ CC). I agree that cutting the range of the primary gun is a good move, as long-range gun platform isn't the Defiler's role, but the other changes make little sense when there's a perfectly good chass... |

| SHT -I'm not keen on upping the Decimator price as its 225 in the BL and I don't consider it undercosted at that price. However the Stormsword is noticeably inferior. I'm leaning towards dropping the Stormsword. Or drop the cost of the Stormsword? 200 points? I kinda like the Ignore Cover weapons. ... |

| i dunno, the hydras arent fearless with a 4+ RA, and dont teleport. This is true. But, 6 of them costs 40 points less than 4 oblits, 2 of them will be Fearless, and they do have twice the movement rate. (Yes, I'd rather the formation of 4 Oblits, even though I know they'd just get nickelled-and-dim... |

Not as good as 300 points for 2 formations of Hydras, averaging 4 hits in two volleys, when compared to 2.5 hits in one volley from 5 Oblits.
It's really not as scary as it sounds if they need 6's to hit. |

| but they can already do that with chaos terminators right? and cheaper too. although, it doesnt come with AA support (thats kinda scaring me actually, oblits as air support. a formation of 5 of them, thats putting out 15 6+ shots right?) Well, you just add an Oblit or two to the Terminators, and th... |

Evil and Chaos wrote: Had a thought about an Obliterator formation; Why not say that Obliterator formations don't have the teleport rule? Something similar was ticking through my head earlier today too. Oblits are very characterful in IW armies, and that would make a formation of them more manageable in-game. |

| my memory is that the IW have very close ties with the raptor cult, and they generally dont have daemons (except, according to the latest GK FAQ, for obliterators which now count as daemons) Nightlords are more Raptor-tastic. IW's, while they do use Raptors, are all about the Oblit cult. Siegehamme... |

8/9 chance, so 89%, compared to 75% for 4+ Reinforced.
Yeah, that's a bit too much for a Dread. The only thing I've come across in any list so far with 3+ RA is the wing-less Demon Prince in the CSM/LatD list. Even the Greater Demons are only 4+ w. RA + Invulnerable (79%). |

| I assume the Terminators + Lord are supposed to be 375 not 275...? Standard Terminators + Lord in Black Legion is 275. The only differences between that formation and this are that there's a Heavy Flamer instead of one of the two Reapers, and that the Lord doesn't get the Sorcerer (Macro in FF) opt... |

| Ah yeah, I never remember crossfire. But, the Terminators can claim the same bonus if they're shooting. I did forget to do the maths against vehicles. Ok, so AT, the Oblits are much better than the Termies: Obs: 12 shots at 5+ down to 4+ = 6 hits. Terms: 8 shots at 6+ down to 5+ = 2.7 hits. And half... |

| Personally, I'd say an Obliterator teleport assault would be pretty thematic. They wouldn't be as good as the Terminators at it as they don't have any extra attacks or melee macro weapons (and cost more per base). Wouldn't you teleport and use your high strategy rating to then sustain fire ? Well y... |
