What I don't understand is why not just play Warmaster/BotFA?  Incidentally Mongoose (of B5 and SST fame) also makes a line of Fantasy mini-minis called Mighty Armies...cheaper then Warmaster...

It was a bit more then I could take. I mean, I am a geek, but it was more then I was willing to let out in public. :p

That's why I've always gone for Mind's Eye Theater...All of the fun of LARP without the embarasing costumes (most of the time)...

I second the Starship Troopers...Great for IG (or even SM) vs. Nids...

Wing Commander for BFG and spaceship combat...
LoTR (Two Towers and Return) or 13th Warrior for fantasy...

The Vree are getting a fleet box in August...Not only will that save you some $$$ but the fleet boxes can be ordered through Alliance (the most common distributer to hobey stores)...

So I've discovered that you cannot order individual ships through retailers...Only the various boxes (including some of the larger ships)...That's immensely frustrating...Anyone know of a US based I-store that carries it?  I'd order from Mongoose but I'd rather at least get free shipping ($3 + ...

Unfortunately the last word of Port Maw on the Gothic Forum was that it wasn't going to be up in the forseeable future... *shrug*...That pretty much leaves here to take up the slack...Especially since it's too hard to try to keep track of threads at the new site... I'm already getting frustrated wit...

I thought the skinnnies had been conqured by the Human forces (according to the book)?  Wasn't that the previous war Humanity had just finished?  I think I remember something at the end of the book about them rebelling...

Well, I'm continuing to check them, but I have a feeling that for the next 29 days I'll probably only really be skimming them...*shrug*...

Andy replied to my email and stated he would seriously concider adding Epicomms as a BFG link but probably after the 30 day period...

To be honest not all that certain...I know the fighters are certainly the old Fleet Action scale but you're right, at least some of the others do appear to be Wars sized so probably all of them are...Which of course is odd since I remember Mongoose mentioning Fleet Action specifically in regards to ...

I dont have much experience with Marines either, otherwise I would chip in. That was my general though...If we wanted to we could start a thread for each fle...
