Theme wise it fits that NL don't have much access to daemons.

Is this why you have also gone for Imperial Titans rather than Chaos ones?

Yes, the titan legion that the night lords allied with had Imperial Titans.

edit: Legio Vulcanum I is the name of the Traitor Titan Legion

Ah, good point. It mostly lies in Terror Tactics, in which enemy units within 15 cm take an extra -1 to rally. This is meant to represent the fear instilled by the Night Lords in their prey. It's currently an upgrade, but may move to a general special rule for infantry units. "We Are Coming For...

Can't be a sub-AC without a list, right? I wanted to be faithful to the fluff on this list, while leaving some room for interpretation. It's meant to be an assault list, with Raptors moving to a core formation alongside a variable (6-12 stand) Claw. That being said, there aren't a lot of fun toys to...

Wow! Very unique bases on those furies. You have great ideas. Love the noise marines, looks fiddly to do!

Thanks, I'll try to keep them coming!

Thanks, Markconz! Here's a picture of the rest of them, nearly finished: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-fpY8pSCS3fE/UvPH7SP6BsI/AAAAAAAABeU/pKoHonRzK38/w356-h475-no/14+-+1 I'll get them done this weekend, I believe. I've started working on a secret, non-painting project, that hopefully I get to ...

Here's a finished stand of the Furies. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-K26SdCnDk44/Uub86L3QZEI/AAAAAAAABck/qBHX4pCoibc/w564-h423-no/Finished+Furies+-+1 I'm not sure how I feel about the stars on the wings, they may need another coat of wash and then another, smaller dot on top of it. I didn't hav...

Thanks! I'm definitely pleased as well with the progress so far, I was worried going assembly line on these wouldn't go so well. I'll admit, they look a little disjointed right now with so much purple in the base, and with so little purple on the bird at the moment. It'll start to tie in together mo...

Ended up waking up around 0600, and couldn't fall back asleep, so I decided to work more on the swirls. Just finished getting the highlighting finished on them. Next step in the process will be to do the stars either on the wings or the bases. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-qQK9RRDLgZ4/UuUGNXcsR...

And the last update you'll see on these, until Monday night. I started the swirls on the bases. The flash washed out the purple a bit, it's not so blue in person (the old liche purple). Probably the hardest part was making sure I switched direction between bases...clockwise versus counterclockwise. ...

:) thanks, I feel like I'm getting a lot done on these. Got the black wash done, and then hit the bases with the old chaos black. And finally got my flash turned off! https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-emX1xoPA74E/UuR8aw45TdI/AAAAAAAABak/3XQdXifJ38E/w564-h423-no/Black+Wash%252C+Chaos+Black+On+Bases+...

Got the purple wash, and next drybrush, finished. Waiting for the drybrush to dry a little bit more before the black wash, and then I'll see if I feel like doing the first few stars tonight. I'll probably re-do the black on the bases and posts tonight, hitting it with chaos black instead of just pri...

I laid down the first wash (blue) and after a dinner/shower break I did a heavy white drybrush (19:40 EST). I'm waiting for that (and my hair) to dry while I'm posting this, and then it'll be a purple wash and a lighter drybrushing of white. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XJVwYImCtSM/UuRan9rkm9I...
