Having seen the GW releases for their Ork War engines from the times when Armorcast made them to the times when GW and Forgeworld made them. Roughly speaking, 40k Gorkamorkanauts = Epic Stompas. 40k Stompas = Epic Supa Stompas or even Slasha Gargants (they're roughly in between the two). It depends on what you use as comparison. Using wh40k Warhounds and Epic ones ... Background wise, more or less: they use Gargants' with a mix of piece...

I always read that as being per turn, and would expect much more restrictive wording if it was limited to three for the whole game.

Exactly. So it's possible, but you need two WE aircraft transports per detachment.

Aparently there are 2 distinct vehicle landing craft. One has the spaces for 6 rhinos, and is the lander. The transporter has room for 2 rhinos or 1 landraider. I can only find the thunderhawk transporter, but I have the model for the larger 2nd edition Epic Spacemarine released thunderhawk lander....

If you mean the Space Marine Landing Craft, it's in the regular Space Marine list.

I've never heard of a 'Thunderhawk lander' before, other than the Transporter (which is in the Scions of Iron list). On the other hand I'm not up to date on SM stuff in the background.

Just to confirm, that’s option 2. So make all the hit rolls for the barrage and allocate the hits, then make all the other hit rolls, and allocate hits to units that don’t have a hit yet (or don’t have two hits yet if you get more hits than there are units etc.).

Though I'm sure somewhere in the rules (haven't got them by me right now) it states that the only time a unit loses it's ZoC is when it is B2B with another unit (or units equalling it's starting DC if a WE). It doesn’t stretch per weapon type, other than Macro Weapon hits. EDIT We've always played with stretching happening per weapon type as well. Similarly the cover modifiers are applied per target type. And cover modifiers aren't either. You choose for the entire formation whether you're shooting into...

Have I misunderstood something? When we play a unit can only place hits on units that are in range of the individual unit. Say a SM tactical unit can only place hits on enemy units withing 45 of it, and not on the units further back in the enemy formation that is more than 45cm away from the SM Tac...
