Yeah, basing standard vehicles (rather than Dreadnoughts etc) is still relatively rare, and relatively new.

Complex quoting on this forum is a bit messy, so... Putting bases on top of enemy bases - OK, but that sounds like you're making life much harder for yourself than needed! War Walkers - I meant Eldar War Walkers, but it also applies to all the other models like Knights, Greater Daemons, Primarchs et...

It's resin, and was made by Monolith/Steve Mussared under licence. There were supposedly four different bodies but I've only ever come across two.

See http://www.collecting-citadel-miniature ... s#Monolith

From a game stand point we are against it mostly because is a pain having to mount units on top of the bases of the adversary vehicles just to get to CC, that's why most of the times is the vehicle the one that sticks out of the base. I think I'm missing something - if there is a base involved then...

Personally I base everything, apart from some decades-old models that I haven't got around to adding bases to: http://images.wargamingtrader.com/768/20190928_191421-2.jpg This is for a mix of aesthetic consistency, making it easier to add magnets for storage/transport, helping protect the model and ...

@stugmeister - thanks! Those are some chunky formations...

@studderingdave - 0.7.2 in the first post is the current version.

Thanks Adam.

Looks like I'll have to do a bodge job with forEach to do an 'unlocks X unit' effect.

I have a different kind of question. Is there documentation for the different types of formation constraint when writing an army list? I know about forEach, perPoints, perArmy, and maxPercent. Are there other types? In particular, can you check for the presence of formation X and then allow any numb...

Also.. is it intentional that Morkanauts feature 1 power field but Gorkanauts do not?

That's from their 40k rules, where Morkanauts have a Kustom Force Field which has traditionally been represented as Power Fields in EA.

Stug - any chance of sharing the list that was used? I love to see how people build their lists and what options they go with.

A very good point, me too!

That’s correct. They’re almost all Fearless instead, which is generally a lot more powerful.

I think the issue isn’t the FAQ, but the wording of the main rule. I’ve always read it that the WE and the transported formation count as one formation for resolving the shooting or assault, not for other purposes. But even if my reading of that bit is wrong, it’s all specific to disembarking - stri...

To be fair, it’s more an issue with the Epic Armageddon Feral Ork list retroactively adding a (massive!) transport capacity to a unit that didn’t have it in previous editions, than an issue with the models.

I'm plotting out possible armies for the Orktober tournament (Bristol tournament in October where all armies used should be orks of any faction). How long is a Skinnerz Finback mode pleasel? The site doesn't say. And/or does any one have a photo of one next to a base of infantry of something? I'm n...
