I just noticed a comment on the Polyversal Facebook page about a joint venture with Hawk Wargames. Sounds intriguing. Hopefully you guys can kickstart in 2015! |

I've recently fallen in love with Dirtside 2 and wondering why on earth I hadn't come across it sooner! I think the chit thing is going to be great, but still waiting for a copy I won on ebay to arrive. I think you could do a dice system, but you'd have to be careful not to bog the game down with a ... |

I've been having time difficulties in getting the rest of the modifications finished myself - 19y/o girls can be a handful at times. ;) Lol, as can 19 month old girls ;) KaJo I am still getting my 6mm army assembled. I would love to help out but it will be a bit before I'm honestly able to playtest... |

Hi All, I've been contemplating a way to speed up the resolution of a large number of attacks in Strike Legion. Often its not a bit problem, but you could come up with some platoon designs with a whole lot of weapons, and it could be a bit painful to roll through them all (plus you might forget wher... |

In Epic, you can have a unit of 10 tanks. This group of tanks has 2 attacks per vehicle, so you can roll 20 dice in one go, allocating hits front-to-back in a lightning-quick manner. SL, and it looks like Polyversal, would have you roll each tank one at a time, and if any vehicle somehow had multip... |

Activation sounds very interesting. I like that command can give you a very significant benefit, but by the end of the round even if you have terrible luck/command you still get to go with all your units. I like the sound of the dice mechanic to hit/damage. One roll to do it all, but is still sensib... |

Good to hear Tertius. I'm sure everyone would appreciate any little previews you could toss our way - even just very basic stuff that hopefully won't change now considering how long you've been at it. Comforting to know that you will be able to capture the essence of some of armies like Eldar and Ro... |

I hope it is Epic in its scope. I want a ruleset to handle an Epic-sized army, not like Strike Legion which is definitely too fiddly for such a scale. I hope its epic in scale and has enough design options so that our group can do Epic Eldar vs. Robotech vs. Plasmablast Progenitors and not feel lik... |

There was this little tidbit of info in today's Collins Epic Wargames Newsletter: Polyversal a Hit at Origins 2013! This year at Origins, Polyversal was demonstrated for the first time at a retail show. Interest in the game has soared. Everyone who saw the game, especially those who played through a... |

@KaJo, Brilliant thanks! Mine does appear to be cut off - but then again I don't think we'll really be transporting too many "large" vehicles. So on transport bays. How does the number of system points work with tech? They are 2 pts each and TL3, and explicitly says that they are lumped in... |

KaJo,
Thanks for all your responses thus far!
One more - can you make drop ships that carry armoured vehicles? I can see how they are made to carry troops, but not sure if they can have tanks in them.
Thanks, -Tim |

KaJo, So if a STOVL or Air element is armoured, then an AA can target it, but must reduce its die? Also, somewhat related question - say I have an AT weapon with an automated turret control and I fire at a soft air element. As I understand it I use the "to hit" procedure, but then for dama... |
