Rules have now been published and will be available on Amazon and Wargames Vault soon (the Wargames Vault takes a little longer to approve files). But I intend to experiment with a pdf version of the rules on Wargames Vault. Kindle I really know nothing about

But more like 40K (one figure = one man).

My WW2 rules (company level, 1:1 scale) are now released for general playtest. That means that we have gamed them, produced a set which gives us a good fun, fast game. But the test of any rules are that they can be picked up and played without someone being there to explain how they work. So the id...

After the last pay-test we decided to make the game a bit more like history and a bit more like a real game. So this time with equal point army lists and instead of PzIV against the T34s, make it more challenging with PzIIIF’s. So 1,200 points a side, look like this Russians 4x squads of infantry to...

We ran the game again yesterday (but moved the Persians up to the Later Sassanid list with better infantry) and swapped sides. So this time I concentrated most of the Persian cavalry on the left (a unit of light cavalry, a unit of heavy horse archers and 3 units of fully armoured bow/lance cavalry) ...

Being run at the North West Gaming centre Because this the first event for the new version of the rules, I intend to take things easy and have only two games on the day. It will be 1,500 point armies for 25mm, 15mm, 10mm and 6mm scale figures. With all participants having a chance to win the main pr...

After the Society of Ancients battle day, I had the start of a Late Roman army which I have expanded with some artillery, skirmishers and some extra-heavy cavalry. So John Holroyd (my partner in developing TDIC v5) and I decided to have a game against his Sassanid Persians when we were meeting up to...

Epoxy glue is the best. 5 minute stuff should be strong enough. I have a collection of clamps (called Helping Hands) that I leave the stuff clamped to whilst I do something else. I cover the claws with plastic tape to get a smooth surface.

I am afraid to say the latest news is that Worthy Games is closing this Saturday - so please don't try and go there expecting a game!
