Just to clarify what I'm seeing in the new list...

-Rough riders gained an extra regular CC attack?
-Heavy mortars / Quad launchers got a tad cheaper?
-Deathstrike silo knocked down to DC 2 ...but now can take 2 shots once? or is 1 shot per turn, 2 max?

Overall looking good!

There needs to be more playtesting before further changes to the Gorgons I think, capping at 0-1 would make DKOK an entierley different army wich would not be assault oriented. Capping at 2 at 3000pts would be workable but invalidate a lot of peoples armies. It would be better to balance the list i...

The common complaint in this entire thread seems to be about the Gorgon spam...so instead of tinkering with infantry, the silo, the rough riders, etc - how about we just move the 0-1 restriction / 1,500 points form rough rider companies to gorgons? i.e. - only 1 formation per 1,500 points can take g...

What are the weaknesses of the list? I've been looking into the list more closely as one of my opponent is looking to put up a force in the near future. I've yet to play against it but am curious about strategies that work well against it. It seems to have formations that can perform every function...

Interesting stuff guys. As a new player to the DKoK I'm realizing I hadn't even thought about putting a commissar in my silo...or garrisoning it on overwatch - although I have been using it as a blitz guard.... I like the suggestion of limiting the unit as apposed to changing it. What if it remained...

Hey Guys! I just came across this thread. I've been playing NetEpic for a few years now and JUST started playing a DKoK army. I'm loving them, still feeling them out for sure. I had no idea they were such a controversial army... I personally haven't seen them as cheesy or overpowered, maybe I'm not ...

Attaching a pic for some scale. Do these sections seem too thick? This is with 10cm pieces back to back. If it seems too thick I think I'll just deploy it as 40cm of this.

hmmmmm ok I was going to take those long sections and put the flat parts together for a wall on both sides...the makes it pretty thick...like 3-4 long bases of infantry fit that way and the pieces are 10 cm long. So maybe I'll make 40cm of thicker trenches with some attached bunkers.. Bunker [- -] [...

I know this has been posted before....BUT


Can anyone drop me a link to the army rules? I've got the main book. Looking for Greeks, Early/Late Romans, successor states, persians ect....

I'd be happy to buy at my game store, but the game is...ancient ;) and ebay is no help.
