I like the stats you propose, even if I will not comment on the price issue or the fact they can be "easily" broken, since I have yet to play with the new rules... But just one thing, irrelevant as it may be... Since we finally managed to get rid of the dom/hydraphant link, and the hydraphant has tu... |

I agree that using the existing burrowing rule is actually the best option! We should have thought of it earlier...Thanks Nealhunt! Here comes the rule: Burrowing units and the units they transport are deployed off table , just like spaceships. Note down the coordinates where you want the burrowers ... |

I hate micromanagement, and the swarms are already a nightmare to handle. I vote for one, CC beast with limited FF.
So I follow Other, since a 15cm mvt pure CC beast will hardly see any action...

(Mojarn Piett @ Oct. 18 2006,07:21)QUOTEHow different is the historical WM from the original? I mean, if it's the same game with errata, minus magic, wouldn't it be easy just to add the magic rules from the original? A comprehensive list of changes can be found in the yahoo groups (both fantasy and... |

Hi, I concurr, Warmaster is a grand game. As others have suggested, I also think Warmaster Ancients is an improvement over Warmaster Fantasy. So, if you are really willing to play orcs vs dwarfs, I suggest two options: 1 - play ancients with the original warmaster fantasy lists. or 2 - proxy t... |

Hi, One thing buggers me : Having to constantly check for formation coherencey AND synapse range is a pain when you are dealing with big swarms and multiple synapse creatures (infantry swarms). It takes hours to move the swarm, and a march order sees the other player go and watch a movie while you c... |

Good eyeshigt... Add a couple of Carnifex mandibls (old one eye), and some green stuff to hold the head upright... and presto! As for the Domi, I was thinking that too, (and I have like 5 dominatrices around...) but I still feel it either lcks "bulk" for a DC ?8, or that is should be downed to DC6..... |

Hi, There is a thread over here with pictures of my bio-titants... I just thought I would post here a close-up of one of the beasts... and his bro (forget the mommy, not yet finished...) So, that leaves the poblem n?1 of the Nid list... The dominatrice miniature is nothing like a hulking DC8 monster... |

Quote (Ilushia @ 07 June 2006 (16:37)) How did he get +3 to assault resolution off the Commissars? Commissars are supposed to be limited to a maximum of 1 per Formation. So he should never be able to get more then +1 off them for Inspiring. If you look at the picture, you will see I assaulted three ... |
