I think FF3+ should be done, though I'm not convinced it's enough on it's own. This sums up my opinion and.... In my own marine list I'm writing up I will be costing the formation variably; if you have 0-2 Annihilators in the Predator formation it cost 250pts, if you have 3-4 it costs 275pts. That ...

It seems like the discussion going on here is more about polls vs. comments rather than the topic at hand. :P Anyways, I voted for minimum of one since that's how my LGS plays it and it's worked fine for us so far. That being said, I do like the sound of just having it round up rather than down, tho...

Yep - My Kindle has PDF's Use Calibre, you can put anything on it then - it converts it into whatever format you need. Drat, I was going to mention Calibre. :P It's fantastic software for editing, converting, and organizing ebooks in any formant plus it's cross-platform and 100% free! There's reall...

How do people see Space Marines in Epic? Space Marines should essentially be slightly stronger than normal IG infantry with much more resilience in battle. "Space Marine vehicles should be excellent generalists." <-- This Space Marine fliers should be evenly split between transports/drop ...

I'd like to see an annual release really, finalise what we have. Publish it as a free downloadable PDF rulebook and a PDF for each army list, then collate any possible changes like new units to support new miniatures throughout the year and an annual release. I know people get annoyed by changing t...

If the netEA armies book ever gets done the issue of "wait, what changes are we using?" goes out the window. If. I think this is the most important point here. These rule proposals are being made in the hope of balancing things as a whole, generally, and you have to remember that it's all...

The only Testors varnish I have is actually a "gloss" coat. I use Krylon for my matt varnishing needs right now, though it's just because that's what I already had rather than out of preference. I've been quite dissatisfied with the Testors "gloss" varnish because it seemed almos...

Those are amazing! I love the look of the lava bases and your colour scheme works out beautifully.

To counter the quick death of Escorts due to Assault / hit and run tactics we are following the rules suggested over in the rules discussion forum of changing the hit chance to 4+ instead of 2+ as well as allowing a Brace for Impact against the hit (as per FAQ 2007). These changes should go a long ...

Woohoo! I can't wait to see all the bases finalized. They're looking good so far, even with the few little mistakes. I'm glad you managed to salvage two of them from that first batch. Keep it up!

I guess I'm the only one that still likes the scroll and cherub stand... Both the decal and scroll look great but, like your friend, I tend to lean towards a more artistic look to things. Plus, like you said before, the scrolls just look more Gothic.

Is the cherub just leaning against your second prow or is it attached to the prow? Anyways, it's looking great! I'm excited to see some body work for your BB, so I hope you feel better soon! I'm a little confused about this statement you made however, "the proposed 2010 rules for the Tau and in...
