You do me too much credit. A bunch of spawny saves was the chief factor.
A thoroughly enjoyable day. Really well organised and in a great venue. Looking forward to next year.

The digital download packs are not worth it. About one third of the content is common to all of them. By the time they are only 30 pages each and there are a few full page section dividers, they work out at nearly a pound a page for unique content. Also, they only play through iBooks. Unless it was ...

Does anyone else play it that since you take a hold action if you fail an activation test then that means a hold action can be taken without passing a test so you can elect to take a hold action without needing to test for activation? The benefit being that the BM is applied for failing the test so ...

I too have found the GW primers to work quite well. The Halfords primers work equally as well and are cheaper. Plus Halfords grey primer is a match for Codex Grey so if done the right way can be used to prime and base coat all in one go. Another useful spray from Halfords is Ford Signal Yellow if yo...

Ulrik- After a few days of living with it, I thiink you are right about the base size. In addition to a large base, a thinner one would also help the height issue. I can see the banshee working as the deceiver. Let's see what you come up with. I saw on Onyx's hobby blog has a GW woodelf spellsinger ...

Thanks to Frogbear for prodding me to paint this (the glue was actually still wet in the pics in my previous post). Usually it takes years between me buying something and painting it. I had hoped that a good painter would have painted one up in the meantime. Here we are with some eldar and a rhino f...

I finally got round to assemblig a test batch of skyray - devilfish. I'm pleased with them except the top hatch. Nothing added to what came in the packet except a small plug to fill the hole in the top.
