Maybe a black on the spar that seperates the 2 green pieces of the plasma guns? OR you could do the yellow and black hazards on the tip of the plasma guns, i think that would look pretty cool. also maybe to break the red up a little make a unit symbol for them on the side of the tread? Hazard strip...

I like to highlight red using a hot orange with red then blending to a fine highlight of white (blend white and orange - blending white with red will give a pink highlight which is not a good look lol). This would probably help to lift the turrets up? :)

I have a new method for stripping plastic and it is VERY effective, quick, clean, non-hazardous and cheap! 1) Fill a plastic tub with nail polish remover: Acetone 2) completely submerge the miniature in the nail polish remover for 5-10minutes 3) remove and scrub immediately with an old hard bristle ...

Right. I agree with both. Vallejo ink and I am going for the goblin green, which was the one on the right. I'm not going for sandy as I would like a jungle board eventually to go with my marine armies. I think red with yellow flames will be best but I will trial a yellow with red flames just encase....

Grass always looks greener..... So there is 3 types of grass I am considering for these marines. Three green with yellow highlights and two types of ink. I think the Vallejo ink is better than the thrakka. So this is the thrakka ink: http://i445.photobucket.com/albums/qq177/unrealdimension/Epic/Fire...

Good work on the basing, I did a few of my landraiders like that with the green stuff as i had glued two 40k bases together and put green stuff on top, You can get some good effects but it takes bloody ages to base everything and costs a fortune in greenstuff if you buy the GW stuff. Looking forwar...

Looks pretty solid to me.

One technique I use to make red "pop" is to highlight the edges with mixes that tend towards orange, red highlights through orange to yellow and then to white.

I also use this technique works a dream.
