My suggestion for your "attack" stat is KQ, standing for Kill Quotient

Also, attached is my attempt to smash FUBAR and Striker together. It may or may not be of use/help.

Instead of "expertise" what about MP, standing for Military Prowess

Instead of "save" what about CDA, standing for Combat Defense Ability

Instead of "activation" what about CB, standing for Command Bonus
Or CAB to stand for Command Actuation Bonus

I second moredakka's remark. The weathering effect is simply lovely, any chance you might do a tutorial either here or on your blog? I, for one, would like to know how to replicate that effect.

Got my "containers" this morning, thanks, Michael they are spot on. The casting is of high quality and I'm already thinking of repurposing mine as Agri-pods. I'll post about them on my blog in due course (don't hold your breath though, I'm a slow painter).

Thanks for the explanation. I have only worked with the traditional means of production and with that it is expected that masters will be destroyed/damaged in the mould making process. We also experience a shrinkage of up to 10% from the master to the production castings. Question, having had your 3...

Back to where I was a few weeks ago except minus a few hundred quid.. This has really upset me quite a bit. AB, how did that cost you a few hundred quid? The sculptors I've contracted with in the past charge about £3 per millimeter. A 6mm vehicle as a green stuff master should be no more than about...

Yeah, just troll back that historical wargamers have no imagination or creativity... Indeed, or perhaps point out the irony that "historical" wargaming (using models and a rulebook on a tabletop) was invented by the Godfather of science fiction, H.G. Wells. "Historical" wargamin...

Hi There

I'm looking for a copy of Striker or, rather more acturately, the three Striker rule books. Not bothered about condition or if they come in the original box.

And while I'm at it if you have a copy of Broadsword lying around I'd be interested in acquiring that too.

What are people's thoughts on Kings of War here? I didn't like the edition you could download for free. I thought the rule mechanics were overly simplistic and blatantly geared towards driving model sales. I'm also not a big fan of whole unit removal even though I do like the oppotunity it gives fo...

I have tried Impetus and would not play it again, the reason is that it is horribly luck dependant and so that does not cut it for me. Chance yes, has to be there but frequent extreme chances, no thanks. LOL! Tell me about it! I quit playing the day I rolled 7D6 and all seven dice came up with a 6 ...

I once played a WHFB game using the just published Lost & the Damned book. I had Nurgle, he had Khorne off Slaves to Darkness. I had Nurgle's Rot and some toughness bonuses. He had 40k weapons in a fantasy context. I never reached the middle of the table. Well kudos to you for at least having a...

@pixelgeek: LOL! You are very probably correct. I should stop looking at the past with rose tinted glasses.
