Flamers are certainly a single 3+FF to bring them in line with other lists. Plague Towers are currently being tested at 15cm rather than 20cm move. 15cm certainly makes them a less offensive unit/transport, but they seem to work OK like that alongside faster moving Altars and Khorne Daemonic assault... |

I think some of the less used DEengine formations could do with a price drop; they've competing with Defilers which have useful long range shooting and a 40cm engage range whilst also being good in FF and CC. Silver towers for instance have better shooting but shorter ranged and will so often have t... |

Uk tournament scene has finished for the year which means for myself more LatD redux testing. I've managed to get two test games in ; one against Steve101 (winning draw to him with his Death Guard) and the other against some orks (2- 0 win to the orks). The list I used for the first was: COVEN [525]... |

As written currently, it appears that a formation containing a Champion can generate 2D3 summoning points normally, an extra 2D3 summoning points from augmented summoning, then sacrifice the champion for a further 6 summoning points, meaning 4d3+6 summoning points, or 10 to 18 points. I believe the ... |

I'm perfectly happy with a complete name change, LatD Redux was always a temporary name anyway. I'd be fine with something generic like "Chaos Cult Uprising" or similar. As to BatReps; once the BHGS challenge is over (this coming weekend) I'll be posting more batreps and obviously any othe... |

wait.....did you actually think it was 150 points for 4 stands of scouts, or 200 points for 8? |

For the sake of argument, let's do that thing. Let's load up a thunderhawk with scouts; 8 in a thawk costs 400 points (with 4 snipers or in two formations) - exactly the same as our firebladed fire warriors. Bear in mind that the scouts have paid for 'transports' on top. Incompertus, 550 POINTS Cod... |

I'm painting some of these myself, and it looks like they just-about all have plate faulds (around the hips/upper thighs) and some have armoured greaves on the lower legs. Some look to have armoured gauntlets as well BTW (all have fabulous hats). |

Imho its follows in the tradition of sci fi satire such as 2000AD, It's....ahh....."heavily inspired" by 2000AD series Nemesis the Warlock, which features a Terran Empire, ruled over by an all powerful emperor with god-like powers who looks to have been a load of famous religious and mili... |

I'll be doing Onslaught-Tau, to replace my Forgeworld-Tau. Already got all the stuff from Onslaught (Vanguard minis are an awesome UK local supplier for Onslaught) so main thing holding me back is deciding on a colour scheme. |
