Small update: Finished another 3 stands, and testing a camo for the APC. Trying to give the army an international mix of sorts - the infantry themselves lending to the French Chasseur Alpin style of design, with the APC going for a more Soviet BTR-80 style in Afghanistan feel. Overall, I'm fairly ha... |

Been thinking of starting a new army based off the French Chasseurs Alpins mountain troops using a winter / woodland smock, with my usual trademark beret and additional goodies. Unlike the previous stands that had the standard beret, I went with the more realistic style with the tarte (larger beret)... |

When do you ever use the plasma guns, seeing as you need to be in an Engage action to be able to firefight at 15cm, and through my current understanding of the rules, I'd rather firefight with an FF of 4+, than shoot with a AP5+/AT5+.
Am I missing something? |

I use Tigers as Chimera/Salamander proxies. The small light nature is *perfect* for a recon tank. Add some antennas from brush thistles, and its the perfect light recon tank. |

DRM so far has been my main supplier for Epic proxies and 6mm gaming (when I do play Seeds of War). The moment I started converting some of the regular Pax Arcadia "light infantry" and "AT infantry" to my own taste (see my painting section in sig), the added berets, modeled backp... |

Ended up cancelling the mortar carrier. Well, I have 3 made, just that I dont feel like painting more vehicles with ambush camo... got relatively tiring, plus I'm not sure how mortar carriers would really fit in into the theme of the army. Might try another hull as the rampart hull seems a bit bulky... |

The idea of the Panzerkrieg brigade started off as an extension to my already rather vast (and half-painted) Steel Legion army, but I really fell in love with the quality and the style of the DRM Pax Arcadia miniatures that I ventured off and created a side army of nothing but these guys. The main p... |

I just noticed this as I received my order, but since when did GW replace the rough sand/stone flock thing with smooth sand? I don't want smooth sand... I was hoping for that rougher version. |

40x50cm for now. Hoping to get 6 of these in total, though I have maybe enough ruins for another 1-2 more boards depending on density. I know that I'll have at least one board full up on trenchworks that I can fit in. Something like a "last stand in front of a bastion" theme to it. |

Hey all. Haven't posted here... ever, so figured I'd kick start this off with a painting log. 412th Armageddon / 60th Panzerkreig Brigade from Warseer : http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210480 So to go with my growing armies, mainly the continued Panzerkreig painting, I wanted an urban... |
