Also be carefull not to put too much into it.  You are starting with an "evil" AMTL list, and adding stuff to it (which is good), but don't forget to take stuff out (besides just the Ordinati{s}).  Maybe less Knights, and limmited access to Plasma Weapons I think you should include the Sup...

I?ve picked through the various Titan Configurations suggested so far (along with a few of my own ideas), and chosen a collection I would actually like to use sometime. ?I arrived at a points cost mostly by thinking about what its worth to me (and I expect those costs to just be a starting point). ?...

funny how that FW Reaver says turbo laser, but looks more like a Volcano...is it an error in my book?

I think the "triple-Rocket Reaver" should have the Fire control Head (possibly as an upgrade) to make it more interesting...but maybe that would make it less interesting, and too tempting!

Well, I think it might be a good idea to pick and choose from a number of Titan Weapon Configerations suggested by various members as need be.  I also think a little more time spent at the beggining discussing things could pay off more than just quickly choosing afew to test right away. Certain...

Yes, I think it would make a big difference to the playtesting if the opponent builds his army to take you down, or if he's using a blind list.  Clearly, with the intent of creating a tourney balanced army list, using the data from blind games is the only way to go. As a side note, the 3 games ...

E&C:  I've elected to pass on the modular costs for simplicity's sake for the time being.  I suspect 730 is still too low, but maybe I should just try it at 750. Heretic:  Our local Chaos player finds his Titans don't fair well when hunted by opposing Titans, as the Chaos Titans are m...

We tend to favour "blind lists" here, even when we know what we're facing.  Most will build their army with either the ability to kill the "not more than 1/3 pts worth of Titans" or with the intend to avoid said Titan. I haven't tried the Castillians, but they do seem very good for 500pts. Its ...

I have only played 3 games with the AMTL list, and they have all been easy 4th turn VP wins. ?Although I found it hard to get a VC win due to my opponent having more activations than me, they found shifting my Titans off their objectives too tough for them to even hope for a VC win. ?All three felt ...

I played Orks at 3000 pts.  He mostly hid, and I had activation problems.  4 turn victory pt win again (though he did get my Blitz by air assulting the Reaver sitting on it).

The list still feels much too strong for Tournament play.

I really like the idea of just a few different weapon groups for each Titan type. I find the standard WL best used against AT targets, but with the flexabiliy to go after WE and infantry in a pinch.   Other interesting variants could have other varieing focuses, like a WL with 2 Quake Cannons a...

I can get the 1.4 list to work perfectly, but still can't grab this 2.1 list.  Could you email it to me?

My 5000 pt game was a win for the AMTL, 4-1 in turn 4 (AMTL: BTS, HTL, DTF, T&H, IG: BTS). IG had 21 acts to my 12, but I had the act advantage by turn 4. I also got a 4000 pt game in against another IG force.  Also a AMTL victory, 1-0 in Turn 4, 2300 remaining vrs roughly 1000 pts IG.  Th...
