I wouldn't have bothered with the baron as you are putting your supreme commander in a lot of danger slicking him with the Lancers.

One of the reasons why I suggested infiltrate to begin with is that most cavalry already has infiltrate i.e rough riders. Lancers are essentially giant robots replicating the role of cavalry.

Errants were never that fast, I suggested Lancers get infiltrator and a 20cm move speed.

Errants are 30cm because of the attempt to make paladins the mid ranged knights, errants the close combat knights and lancers the firefight knights, which works in some ways but not in others.

I don't think many people, if infact any, are going to feel like talking a unit of 9 knights, the current upgrade system for them feels a bit weird. Lancers still trump Errants due to Errants strange weapon loadout. The autocannon on the Paladins needs to be replaced with two heavy bolters, I think ...

I don't think you should be married to the current stats of 4+ reinforced armour, i think 5+ reinforced would allow a much better leeway in what you can do with the shields.

The problem here is that metal knights are in 3's and obtaining a 4th would be tricky. I'd go for option 3 for now to make it easy for people who can do it either way. Best to have an army that fits in with what people currently have.

To give the hornets nest of discussion on 2x4+ or 3x5+ a good whack do we want to take into consideration catching a defending unit in cover in a firefight. In which case 3x5+ gets 0.49% of a hit and 2x4+ 0.66%. I suggest we toss a coin for which one we use. Heads 2x4+, tails 3x5+, I'll let you know...

Excellent, nice work BlackLegion and Dobbsy, that has them all done except Imperial Fists.

To be honest I'm not sure how the Imperial Fists can diverge from the standard space marine list that much?

The numbers on a stand really shouldn't matter in this day an age anyway, there only seems to be a hard core following playing epic that i can see. It's not as if someone would complain about a stand not having enough models, if they were to say it wasn't legal I would probably ask 'legal for what'?...

Cheap activations, I'd recommend Thunderbolt fighters @ 150pts or Skitarri @ 300pts

Seneschals are currently great value, leader and inspiring alone is 50pts, get them while you can.

As I see it, the most elegant solution is to simply make them mounted infantry. Yes, there is only one per stand, but since there are two "models" in the bike, I think that can squeeze through. This leaves the rest of the rules alone and doesn't mess with game balance nearly as much. This...
