Thanks to obtaining my first battlefleet ships a few days ago, I've decided on my liveries. CHAOS: A confession.. I've gone with GWs standard red (red gore, to be precise) and gold, with weapons in boltgun metal! It looks snazzy though, and I couldn't think of anything else, as my other ... |

Yes, the hammer and anvil is a tactic better suited to the imps. The hammer units would stay behind the anvils (out of harms way..hehe) until the enemy is within spitting distance, and would the leap out from behind and join with the torpedo salvo of doom in order to rip the enemy a new one. 5... |

Hi all, A small quandary with respect to fleet proportions for the imperials. ?I think of the fleet of being comprised of "anvil" units, such as all criusers, battlecruisers and battleships, and "Hammer" units, such as light cruisers and escorts. ?My question is because my tactic is to advance in a ... |

"As for apothecaries, IIRC the Traitor legions are nowadays dependent of Mr. Bile for their gene-seed operations so I'd guess they just aren't around anymore?" This is where what GW says is made to sound cool rather than be realistic. Suppose a Chaos Marine (lets call him Joe)gets a bolter round in ... |

No, I've never heard anything about those dudes. Librarians probably became possessed and/or Tzeentch worshippers, as you said. Apothecaries...no idea here. They probably still exist, although i could imagine them becoming similiar to lots of little Fabius Biles. lightning rods, Bits sti... |

Thanks CyberShadow! ?The painting section is on its way about... now. ?Getting pictures may be tricky, as I don't have a scanner and our digital camera doesn't work. (starts to think) (7) ?Now spray paint the asteroids black, but remember to use blu-tac or similiar to hold them down onto whatever th... |

Ok, a design for asteroids, like it says on the tin! DISCLAIMER: ?These asteroids are meant to be of "gaming quality", and are not super-detailed or really realistic. ?However, they'll be fine for home terrain. (Not good for clubs, they may well be too fragile ) YOU WILL NEED: A sharp craft knife. 1... |

Hi all,
I'm looking for some way to mail order BFG figures in the UK, without going through GWs online store (?4 postage??? )
Does anyone know of any site that could do this? |

I assume this applies to when you roll doubles only? |

And how about this for a chaos fleet? 1 warmaster, with 2 rerolls (100 pts) 1 Hades (200 pts) 1 Devastation (190 pts) 2 murders (340 pts) 3 infidels (120 pts) TOTAL: ?950 pts. What does this look like? ?(Its anti-Imp, by the way) Another thing... would the Imperial fleet at 1000 pts have to take a f... |

I've come up with two imperial fleet lists, first one balanced (I think), second possibly cheesy. What do you think? Oh, and is it possible to have a fleet with just cruisers (not battlecruisers) and escorts? FLEET 1: (Balanced) 1 Fleet admiral with one reroll (75 pts) 1 Dominator cruise... |

I may be getting hold of some chaos escorts soon, so I'm going to try my hand at drybrushing.
One question; what are the darkest shades of blue and red in the GW paint range? |
