						| Quote: (Jeridian @ Jan. 26 2010, 23:18 ) The Oblit with AA is so different (read more powerful) than any other AA it stands out as odd. Every other AA ground unit is a vehicle with fragile armour and no other purpose. Precisely. A unit that probably shouldn't be AA, performs a multum of other r... | |

						| In all fairness - the relevance is towards realism. I know it's a game. I know it's sci-fi, but still it is not Transformers or pokemon. Obliterators in 40k can morph into: lascannon, multi-melta, plasma cannon, twin-linked plasma gun, twin-linked melta gun, twin-linked flamer. I cannot find any oth... | |

						| Quote: (hello_dave @ Jan. 22 2010, 08:15 ) I'm not in favour of an extra AA unit 'just because' when most comparable lists get by with one, which just has to suck up being deployed in non-optimal positions (like a lone Hydra Garrisoned with an infantry co). In the Iron Warriors list, which has ... | |

						| A definite 'yes' for the Stalker. I never liked the idea of oblits being AA, it always seemed a far-fetched idea. Also, I prefer when the AA role is taken by units specially suited for that role, not as a bonus for a terminator unit etc. Same with Eldar fireprisms.
 Bitter and twisted, Laylo

						| That's why I don't have a stance on it yet. It's very expensive beasty. Somehow I'll need to take on the enemy fighters quickly. Probably hold out one CAP attack and the try to use intercept with the Hellblades of helltalons. I just don't want to pass any judgement or add it to the list without know... | |

						| I will test the bomber hopefully in the following week. I presume no one else ever used it? I'm just curious if it's not overpowered (seems like it can survive 3 rounds and place 6BP anywhere each turn)or the other way around - too costly. | |

						| Love the changes, especially to the aircraft formations. As for the faction animosity, I think it is just a fluff idea and it shouldn't have any impact on the list. Adding bonuses to orders can be tricky to balance and for some gods seems far-fetched. One question though: has anyone playtested the H... | |

						| (see first post of the thread) I've added all the mentioned changes to the list. Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately the file size is to big to put in a doc, so it's still Winrar + doc. I can try making a pdf if desired. i checked for any spelling mistakes as usual, but still if you see any send me a... | |

						| I'll post the corrected version (with the changes above) on Monday when I have time to write it in and check the typos. If you want I can try to pu it in another format if the file won't be to large. | |

						| Thanks Steve! I'll post the list with the changes on Monday in the original post. As for the naming - do we change any of the names of the infantry companies? So far we have - Iron Warriors Detachment (core formation) - Iron Warriors Forlorn Hope - Iron Warriors Havoc Company - Iron Warriors 'assau... | |

						| Just 3 questions: 1. Why are the stingray gone? They are easilly convertable from the HH with twin linked missile pods. And this leads to question nr 2... 2. Will the experimental units, like the turrets, be back and usable with the list? This may be a little troublesome at the moment for people who... | |

						| never tried using vassal. Maybe not better than them, but have more experiance as usually I play against them both, and they rarely play against one another. In other words, I get to play more battles than either of them. | |

						| Nope. Usually we play once a week due due to college studies and sports. I wanted to play against the IW after 3 wins in a row but they didn't want to and prefer to stick to their own lists. They play regular Eldar (though wants to test Iyanden and Seim-Hann) and Steel Legion. Reposted the list (see... | |

						| Well I don't have any battle reports. didn't have time and my friends don't like to prolong battles. I play the Iron Warriors/Tau, my friend IG and my brother has eldar. Below are some lists that we used in our games I used to scavange but they're a little old (when we started playing). If I find th... | |

						| I've played quite a lot of games with the new list over the last two months and I'm really happy with it. 75% wins against eldar and the imperial guard. Usually we play for 3500pts per match and I have about 11-12 activations per list. I noticed two things: 1. The list needs an Assault Marines upgra... | |
