Quote When GW was in Goodramgate (sp?) in York the store was so small it had trouble fitting in the stock! Yeah that's the one, one table downstairs and 1 or 2 upstairs. You are right though it was small, "somewhat small" probably doesn't do it full justice. On the other hand I was smaller back then...

Quote Hi Here in the UK we have never had the culture of gaming shops where you could play, in the main as the retail outlets were way too small. Even tables in GW stores is a relatively new phenomena, and now we have GW Gaming Centres, which are stores with quite a few tables. We do have lots of cl...

I used Dropship 40,000's method, except with sand as a base like my other mini's. Very quick and slap dash but it looks very effective. http://www.dropship.org.uk/epic/ter001.asp

Interesting post Primarch. I suppose if the shops disappeared entirely then gaming clubs would probably fill in the gaps. Hell, GW itself could start clubs that only exist for getting people together and gaming using their tables, terrain, etc. They could also have a computer there so people could o...

I got into GW through their diversity of games. I started with HeroQuest, then moved onto their other games, Space Hulk, 40K, FB, Space Marine, Blood Bowl, etc... I believe that in the long run they will lose profits if they keep trying to specialise so much on the big couple of games at the expense...

Quote I think it would be more swarm-like if there was a mechanism like what is used in 40k for the meat grinder mission, where wiped out formations can reenter from the player's board edge. I doubt that will work in a 4 turn GT game, though, so something equivalent would have to do. Just a crazy th...

Quote 3 - Cheap alternate to GW flocking? ?Anyone got any suppliers they'd like to recommend? I went for a desert theme for my army and found that just sand of the right colour from a hardware store looks good. For added bits you could add little stones too. Nice and easy, no painting required. Exam...

Welcome! For Ork models the only one I had an issue with was the Dethkoptas. I put off painting mine for a long time as I thought they were a bad model. Having said that when I did get around to painting them I was pleasantly surprised by how they came out. So based on that I would buy more if I wan...

Fine by me. :)

That was just a fun thing I (with my brothers help) did from  an image I found on google so I'm not sure how that would go with regards to copyright. But I can add the gargant, (and dethkoptas and stormboys if you want) to an image you provide if that would be useful.

I've been digging out my old Space Hulk and I'd like to have a go again. The trouble is I need some missions that have 3 squads of terminators since there will be 4 people playing. Does anyone know where I could find some missions like that?

Cheers!

While wandering on the oil plains of Goreltas 4 a lone photographer managed to take the following picture. His camera was recovered next to a large foot print, sadly the photographer was too flat to make a comment.

1280 / 960
1152 / 864
1024 / 768
800 / 600
