Ah ok, wait this makes sense now. In the army builder the lists I mentioned are listed as "NetEA" not "NetEpic". My bad. Still interested in finding out more about NetEpic though. Rulebook should be down in a while. Download seems really slow. |

I remember reading a while back about Net Epic and if I recall correctly it was a community driven response to mass dislike of the previous (pre Epic-Armageddon) official version of Epic from GW. I've been looking around and can't find much more to explain it. I'm downloading the rulebook right now,... |

I'm specifically interested in what models from DRM and EW most folks use to build which armies. If anyone can point me to a list, or wants to start a list it would be great. Basically I'm looking for stuff with a minimum of conversion that can be fairly easily passed as something out of the 40k uni... |

Ok, I really dislike the standard GW/SG metal Leman Russes and Chimeras, not to mention that they're horribly over-priced. Unfortunately I missed out on the ones Forgeworld used to have. Does anyone know where I could find some nice resin ones? I know it's a long shot, just trying every avenue. I ca... |

Just thought of something. If my thunderhawk has two blast markers (enough to suppress one space marine unit) and it's at the back of the formation after landing, is it suppressed as a unit, i.e. it can't fire ANY of its weapons, or does it suppress ONE of its weapons? EDIT: Ok I think I figured thi... |

Thanks so much guys. This has given me a much clearer understanding of the rules and I think I see the philosophy behind them. Cheers. |

b- BM's are given to the Thunderhawk. However unit the end of any engagement or shooting action, the BM's count for suppression across the entire formation. Awesome, thanks E&C that's great. I just don't understand the above answer. Are units the T-hawk is transporting classified as part of its... |

Aight, I'll keep it quick. If you can offer an answer please, please tell me where to look so I can find the rule myself. I've tried to find explanations of these and come up dry, so now I'm bothering you fine people. 1) Suppression and units in transports. Do units inside transport vehicles count f... |

So Dark Angels need 2 attack bikes for every 4 stands of bikes. Unfortunately a blister of bikes gives me 1 attack bike per 4 stands. After some intensive math, I predicted that no matter how many blisters I buy, I will always have too many normal bikes and not enough attack bikes. Solution, I... |

So with the Space Marine list, there are two ways I can get Land Raiders on the table. 1) In a formation of 4 land raiders. 2) As an addition to another formation, and then only 1 at a time. Problem.  If I buy them in a formation of four, the rules say a transport can ONLY transport units in the ... |

Quote: (lord_bruno @ 29 Apr. 2009, 10:14 ) 2)In Epic 1unit=1stand, they are the same. They can shoot once per weapon listed (unless small arms), if the weapon is 2 x XXXXX, it can fire twice, or 3 x XXXX, three dice, etc. So each stand=unit of Terminators shoot 2 dice (2 shots of assault cannon... |
