Everything arrived yesterday - and I'm attempting to get it all done in time. :sos ;D Not played a game yet - so no idea how to go about it all. I'll just turn up and get wiped out most lik... |

Well i've had a few models arrive which I bought from ebay. Not really enough to do an actual force organisation slot, but a few to start with. I think I will stick with the red and bone colour scheme, and have started painting a few items. I'll take some pics when they are a bit more worthy. As a s... |

OK, as I've got no tyranid models yet, all i can do is look at rules. A couple of other things I've noticed in the epicuk rules. Support Formations. I know it's daft- but it lists a Nest Swarm, consisting of a Synapse Node. Going by the army list, there is no Synapse node. There's a Hive nest which ... |

thanks for the examples. I think i'll stick with the strips for my infantry. I like the way the holes are in random places to give a more natural layout to the individual troops (especially as I'm doing Tyranids) But I really like the look of those curved edge round bases. Warmachine did you say? I'... |

I guess the good thing about coins, is the weight helps keep it in place and the right way up.
I'll have an experiment i think when I get some stuff arrive. Thanks for the idea. |

I'm afraid some has gone on ebay - as I really need funds to buy nid epic. What little there is se... |

I saw your guard, they looked really good. (do you have a link for where they are from) What size are the Carnifex etc? As I've seen those on round bases that look very much like 40K bases? Are they that big? I thought the thickness of those bases was off though. Do you find the paint on the 1p coin... |

Looking around at other armies i see a range of bases used. What is everyones preference or reason for choosing the bases they do? I think i prefer the rectangular bases. I like how it staggers the infantry giving an almost natural unregimented look. Not sure i particularly like the square bases. I'... |

I couldn't wait, and ordered more nids on ebay. I'm too impatient and ordered a couple buy it now (so the astronomical prices) Really could do with some sprues appearing on ebay. Yeah I thought it was just me shocked at the ravener stats. I did like the proxy used though (the ripper swarm) although ... |
