Good points I was originally going to make them slightly worse than siegemasters by having 1 H. stubber per 2 stands and making them better in CC. Then I decided normal guard inf would be a good point to start from then feedback can change it to get the feel of the army right. Thislist does of...

I felt the beastmen were a little too mutated from the human genome to fit in with this list. Once the list has been tested a bit it may work out that a variant will be to add beastmen (make them slightly better than they were) but if they are used you may not take commissariat units. Or...

yeah lose fearless, in fluff terms they don't execute their men to make them stay like commissars so maybe their close supporters drag them off when it really hits the fan.

some good points, as this is only a WIP i'm open to any suggestions. tyring to address some of them: Quote: On very uneven battles, as I understand it the weaker side can withdraw everything immediately, leaving the larger side in control of the battlefield, but with forces that cannot be extr...

This was moved from a different thread: I love the ideas of having random troops in games adding an unexpected element to the game! Say playing the escalating engagement scenario and whoever wins is the attacker for the campaign. 6 points are assigned a number. Each side write an 18,000 pt lis...

The drop company doesnt have attached sentinals as they are a seperate company under the command of their own officer: - 1 Command Sentinel with 2 Sentinels. - 5 Drop sentinel squadrons consisting of 3 sentinels - 1 Support Sentinel Squadron of 3 sentinels = 21 sentinels Sentinels in drop troop forc...

The 23rd elysian in IA 3 would be more typical than the d99. But every regiment is slightly different. In Taros they were used in a semi-suicidal move to secure a water processing plant. (They went in with little to no intelligence at half strength as they didn't have enough Valkyries to...

Quote: (Ginger @ 30 Apr. 2009, 22:14 ) However, while they may be one of the best Rapid-Reactioin forces, that refers to battlfield deployment not their general command and Control capabilities, which would seem to be on par with IG in general. I would be forced to disagree, if this was any oth...

Quote: (Honda @ 30 Apr. 2009, 18:14 ) Respectfully, I disagree. Logistics has everything to do with a Strategy Rating. If you read the entire lead up to the invasion of Taros, you discover that the Elysians were just another regiment along with all the others that had to get from where they wer...

Maybe Death Korps have Heavy Cavalry instead of Rough Riders. I've always imagined the Death Korps cavalry as a lot heavier than normal guard cavalry so a better save would be good. Though I like rugs idea of having a seperate cavlry choice as they dont really fit the rough rider stereot...

I fail to see how a logistical trail affects what happens once the Elysians commit to a combat zone. 3000pts is what I would deem a regimental scale conflict or in the case of marines a full company with attached assets. Logistics would have very little to do with what happens due to the...
